Poor Max had a rough start to the morning and was in a brawl minutes before his scheduled fortnightly wash today! He was very lucky to get out with no scars, and very lucky that this inside boy was booked in for his wash today!

✂️Winter grooms✂️

Just my annual friendly reminder that grooming is year round! A lot of the time I have customers want to hold off on grooming due to cooler weather, but this is actually the opposite of what should be happening! If your goal for your dogs coat for winter is to let it grow then it actually requires MORE maintenance work. As soon as matts start to appear this will lead to shaving your dog.

I often have customers tell me they brush their dog regularly. This may be true in some cases but unfortunately usually only the dogs back gets brushed. Hair grows everywhere on dogs - so everywhere has to be brushed. If you would like suggestions on what brushes are best to purchase for your dog coat or lessons on how to properly brush I am here to help!

A great solution is to have mini grooms in between full body haircuts. These include a proper brush of your dog, a warm wash, towel and jet dry, eye wipe, ear clean, nail trim along with a paw tidy, hygiene clip and face/ear style.

Thank you all for your understanding over the past week - between my own illnesses, my children's illnesses (cheers to Kayla from Blue Wheelers Rutherford for jumping to a few jobs for me when I know you are already at Max capacity) , and an unfortunate trailer bogging event (cheers to Luke From Blue Wheelers East Maitland for the tow 😅) it has been quite the week of shuffling appointments.

Being the sole operator of any business has its challenges, and daycare germs are by far the hardest to juggle! With customers like you it is so much easier, so a sincere thank you for your understanding and support as we venture further into flu season.

It's been a while, so I thought I'd take a minute to re introduce myself!

HI! I'm Steph, your local Dash Dogwash groomer! I've been in the grooming industry for over a decade and am passionate about all things oodle. I originally got into the industry following my husband (Tim)'s footsteps. He has since moved back into teaching but I'm sticking around for the long haul.

I have previously owned a beautiful Golden retriever, and a German shepherd cross and now am the proud dog Aunt of Reginald (Reggie) the greyhound ⬇️.

When I'm not in my trailer I am wrangling two very active children, drinking coffee or reading a book.

🎄CHRISTMAS MEMO🎄

As we enter the last few weeks before the big day I have a few requests to help through this hectic time -

⭐ Please make sure there is adequate parking infront of your house with access to power and water. If there are cars blocking where I should be, please move them leading up to the appointment time.

⭐ Please understand that although I try to be super flexible, if your dog was booked in for a wash and not a haircut I may not be able to change the service last minute. However, if I am able I will always aim to do the desired service.

⭐Please notify me if you need to cancel as soon as you can. With such high demand for these appointments I could open these up to others hoping for an appointment.

⭐Kindness and understanding are always appreciated. ❤️
