Our hearts are full after our National Pet Adoption Day! 🐾

On Saturday 10th October, animal rescue groups across Australia joined us at Pets Domain to raise much needed awareness about pet adoption and help dogs and cats find their forever homes.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, more than 350 SavourLife dry and wet food products were purchased on the day! Our amazing friends at SavourLife are generously donating the same amount of food back to our local rescue partners 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported our local rescues. Together, we’re helping create brighter futures for dogs and cats waiting for a place to call home.

We couldn’t do it without you. Thanks for being part of something so special! 💙

PLEASE DON’T GIVE KITTENS AWAY FOR FREE 🙏🐾

We know it comes from a kind place, but please contact a rescue instead.

If kittens are taken from mum too early, some won’t survive.

Kittens should stay with mum and siblings until they are at least 7-8 weeks old. If they are taken too early they can get very sick and die, or develop serious health and behavioural problems later in life.

At least with a reputable rescue like us:

We keep mum and kittens together and safe until they are old enough to be weaned.

We get ALL vet work done before rehoming - including desexing, microchipping, and vaccinations to stop the breeding cycle.
Most kittens given away free never get any vet work done at all.

And did you know kittens can get pregnant from just 4 MONTHS old? The cycle just keeps repeating.

Please also get your mum cat desexed to stop any more unwanted litters. There are already so many abandoned, stray and unwanted kittens - we don’t need to breed more.

If you have found kittens or your cat has had kittens and you need help:

Please PM us. We have available carers right NOW who can take kittens, or mums with kittens, and keep them safe.

We are here to help, no judgement. Just reach out before giving them away.
