Hi everyone! I’m Caitlyn, and I’ve been part of the team here at the Pet Resort for 4 years and I can honestly say I absolutely LOVE my job.
Best job in the world! 🥰

Most of my days are spent playing with the animals, giving them plenty of love and attention, and of course… lots of cleaning! 😂
Most days you’ll find me covered in fur, drool and some sort of mystery substance I’ve decided is best left unidentified, but you’ll never hear me complain! I’m exactly where I want to be. ❤️

One of the best parts of my job is getting to know all of our regular pets and forming those really special connections with them. I like to say I don’t have favourites… but let’s be honest, I most certainly do! 😂
Some pets just tug at your heartstrings in exactly the right way and you can’t help but fall completely in love with them.
I also absolutely LOVE meeting all the newbies who come through our doors! 🐶🐱 Welcoming them into our Northshore family, helping them settle in and making sure they feel safe, comfortable and loved is one of my favourite parts of the job.

And speaking of family, that’s exactly what makes Northshore feel like one. ❤️ The people/the staff.
I knew I had found my perfect fit pretty much as soon as I saw how the team treated the animals — like they were their own. That was something really special to me, and I knew straight away that this was somewhere I wanted to be.

Four years in, and I still wouldn’t want to be anywhere else! 🐾❤️

Time to meet the humans behind the hounds!

Hey guys, I’m Manda!
I’ve been part of the Northshore team for 5 years now! I spend most of my days down in the kennels loving on your pets.
I’m pretty easy to spot, just look for the human that is absolutely covered in dog hair and drool.

I’m a self-proclaimed crazy cat lady who also has a serious soft spot for a good dog (Don’t tell the naughty ones, but I actually think all dogs are good dogs).
I’ve spent most of my life trying to figure out how to spend as much time around animals as possible.
Safe to say, I think I found my dream job. 🥰

One of the best parts of being a kennel tech is when we have a dog who arrives feeling a little nervous, I absolutely love that moment when I see that first little tail wag — when they’re starting to trust me and feel comfortable.
Seeing their personality start to come out is the best!

It sounds strange to say, but I knew I found my people at Northshore when we would get notified that one of our long-term pets had passed and all of us would get a little sad.
Next minute we start telling stories about how cute they were.
Because we do really fall in love with your pets!
As much as they are yours, they become a little bit ours too, we get excited when they get to stay with us and miss them until we see them again ❤️🐾
