Just had a great weekend at the West Moreton ASH Challenge 2026.
Brookfield Xander and I are still green at competing but managed to get:
1st Senior hack Challenge
1st in the encouragement Challenge and
3rd in the 5yrs and over Challenge.

We currently have limited Agistment spaces. We offer large private paddocks with reticulated water, horse safe fencing, shade trees and plenty of grass. Additional facilities include washbay, shared tack shed, space for feed and hay. Undercover 20x30m arena, stables, several riding areas and a large trail riding paddock. We offer self care, part care and full care. Located just outside Rosewood.

At the end of 2025 I made the difficult decision to close my riding school. For the past 7 years I have had the privilege of teaching many aspiring riders about horsemanship and riding. My horses (many of which I bred) have been amazing with the demanding role as lesson horses. However, it it now time for them to have a well earned rest, find their forever owner, become part of the competition team or join the breeding herd.

Savvy Stables is not closing its doors. Leanne will continue to offer riding lessons for riders on their own horse. Agistment numbers will be increasing and hosting clinics is on the agenda. In addition Leanne has started competing and breeding Australian Stock Horses.

This year I started a journey to compete in Australian Stockhorse events with Brookfield Xander. Hours of training, lessons and stepping out of my comfort zone into the competition arena. This is just the start of Xander’s and my partnership and I’m super excited for what’s ahead.

Professional development is important for everyone. I just had the most amazing Easter weekend at a horsemanship/equitation and cattle working clinic (with Sue Frank and Linda Hingst). I took Xander and am so happy with how he behaved and improved over the 4 days. He really is a special horse ❤️.

What to do on a rainy day??? Lennie and Mack decided they would watch TV with darryl 😂. I think if the door was open they would have both walked inside and made themselves comfy on the couch.
