Headed off to one of my fav events on Saturday,
Wasn’t sure I’d get there after getting struck down by the nasty flu going around but a dose of antibiotics I was half human again Friday and ready to have some eventing fun in the sun at Werribee with young Stanley 😍
We hadnt had the best lead up to the event with him having a disagreement with a fence early July where the fence won, then an abcess and lastly, the flu 🤦🏼‍♀️ so i was just happy to get there and see how we went 🤷🏼‍♀️😁
He stepped up to 80 and his only xc school was the weekend prior at the Derby but what a superstar he was.
Produced a lovely calm accurate dressage test to score 72.78%, to sit in first place, sj clear despite the rider throwing some bad riding into the mix 🤦🏼‍♀️ and came home clear and under time xc, albeit not pretty to start with ( but thats just a bonus they say 😂) to stay in first place 🥳🥳🥳

Could not be prouder of the boy, stepping up a level, not the best lead in, half alive rider then to lead from start to finish, absolute superstar!!

Weekend wrap up from the 4cyte HRCAV TTT Horse Trials in Mansfield.

Well it was a fresh one, winter has definitely it but I survived albeit possibly coming away with an incoming cold 😏🙄 BUT it was well worth it.
My super star young OTT proved what a ripper horse he is leading from start to finish, gosh I love him! Very lucky to have two special otts in my team 😍
It was a big atmosphere for him with everything going so close so our dressage was a calm as usual but he knows his job once in that white rectangle and we worked hard to keep it together to score a great score of 78.6%.
Sunday morning get sj clear and consistent even with the cold wind blowing and him being more spooky than usual. Xc saw a 2hr delay due to some unfortunate falls earlier but once we got out there, he was super coming in clear and just under time ☺️

A big shout out to for the generous sponsorship, very happy to win a pack of 4cyte for the boys. North east light and sound for the class sponsorship.
We also won the best performed ott for his level, and second overall. Thankyou to for the ongoing sponsorship at these events and for the fabulous new cap with his race name on it 😍
We were also lucky enough to come 4th in the teams placings, big shout out to Kay Harding, and Liz Koschitzke for their help, support, videos, photos, heater, hot water bottle and just being super team mates!

Well done to Kingkake and Mansfield Adult riders for running a fabulous event, all the volunteers, sponsors, other riders and clubs competing and helping.

What a special young ott I’m lucky to train, compete and make special memories with ❤️❤️
Over the Easter long weekend we headed to Riddells Creek Horse trials. He did a lovely dressage test to be sitting a close 2nd behind a more seasoned horse and didn’t add to that score to finish 2nd 😊
We backed it again this weekend at the Bulla Horse trials, call me crazy lol Thankgod for another long weekend 😂
Stanley produced a lovely dressage test for a ripper score of 90% 😳🥳🥳 to sit first.
He even scored two 10s, clever kid
Onto to SJ, where unfortunately he had one tired rail 😏 to drop us to 3rd but came back strong yesterday with a double clear Xc to finish 2nd again lol
Super stoked with him as he gets very looky at Bulla but we got around even dropping into the water 🙌🏻🙌🏻

So grateful to have these two beautiful otts in my life ❤️❤️
Last weekend I headed down to Boneo Park for the final of the Off The Track dressage series. Stanley was a late inclusion to the trip but by gosh it was a great decision to take him, figured I was heading already with Denman, may as well put Stanley on the float too 😂
It was a warm weekend and LONG trip down Friday afternoon thanks to the long weekend traffic but after 3 1/2 hrs we arrived, plaited the boys up and finally got to bed about 11 after getting up for work at 4.30am 🫣😴😴
Stanley was up first Saturday in the prelim and produced 2 lovely tests in a big atmosphere to finish 3rd and 4th and reserve champion for the day. He’s still learning this straight dresssge caper with doing his first EA dressage comp only 2 weeks prior.
Denman was next up in the novice, working well to finish 2nd and 3rd and 3rd overall for the day. Good Boys 😍
Sunday saw Stanley first on and a much more consistent test to finish 2nd and then 3rd in his second test and again reserve champion for the day. What a good young kid.
Denman was also first on for his first test and was let’s say rather happy to be out of the yard. He held it together until mid test where we had a slight disagreement in our downward transition, costing us a few places to finish 4th but did an absolutely beautiful second test to redeem himself and finish 2nd and again 3rd overall for the day.
Overall for the series, Denman finished a close 4th in the novice after going 3 of the 4 days and Stanley the superstar finished 3rd in the prelim by only 0.272 of a point 🫣
Not bad for his 2nd ever EA dresssge comp and only doing 2 of the 4 days of the series 😍😍
The boys ended up with some wonderful prize money from the weekend thanks to Off The Track. It’s such a great series and one I put in my calendar every year now 😊

The beautiful young Stanley and I headed to Werribee on Sunday for his first EA dressage comp and what a superstar he was ❤️❤️
He was the only Tb in his level and held his own against some very nice WBs.
The 1.3 was up first and he produced a lovely calm test to finish a very respectable 3rd. Then the 1.2 which was in arena 1 at Werribee. There was a lot to take in, all the judges boxes, the admin building, yards and floats in eye shot and got some reason a flock of birds intent on flying around non stop 🫣 he was more looky but still produced a nice test to finish a close 7th.
So impressed with him, he’s such a lovely young horse to train and take out, and just improves each outing, gotta love the otts 🥰

The beautiful young Stanley scored his first win on the weekend at the Winchelsea Ag, Horse & Pet Geelong Horse Trials
He was a bit looky in his dressage on Saturday in such an open space and big atmosphere but produced a lovely test for 75.92% to be sitting first by a few marks.
This was his first overnight stay at a comp and the awful winds all night didn’t make for the best sleeping but happy to say he was still in his yard in the morning 🙌🏻
The winds continued to get worse making for an interesting jumping day on Sunday.
He was rather full of himself in the sj warm up but luckily pulled himself together for a nice round with one unlucky rail coming down the hill to the double.
Xc warm up was pretty much the same as sj but worked through it, the wind and dust were rather gross, so I get his attitude lol
I was sooo over it by then too 😂
Happy to say we got around clear and under time to stay in first place, what a clever young boy he is.
Very happy to also win the best performed ott for the 65 classes, so he came home with 2 lovely rugs, trip well worth it 🥰

Super proud of the young Stanley over the weekend at Gisborne Horse Trials in the 65 young horse class for 4/5 yo. He did a lovely, calm dressage test, some room for improvement but it’s only his 4th ever dressage test and got 70.31% and sitting =1st, so I was pretty stoked ☺️
He had 2 green unlucky rails in sj, both heading towards stands and tents full of people and his first time jumping without a bonnet, so he got a little distracted but jumped super over a tight, spooky course. This dropped us to 6th but he jumped super around a technical cross course for the first event of the year to finish 4th and win best performed ott for the 65 class, his first rug ❤️❤️🙌🏻🙌🏻

Thanks to the committee and all the volunteers for a well run event. We had a sprinkling of rain Sunday morning which gave a little nicer going around the Xc course.

After the focus being on the baby pony recently with him going to his first horse trials last weekend, the big boy was happy to be back out and being the no.1 pony 😁
We trotted off the Seymour Dressage and Showjumping Club Dressage Jackpot yesterday for his first lvl 2 tests. With not a huge amount of work leading into it, I wasn’t expecting anything other than calm tests but he did that and so much more. So damn proud of him, I was stoked and pleasantly surprised to see us sitting in firsts place for both tests of the day, even with a rider error in the second test! Damn leg yielding the wrong way 🤦🏼‍♀️😂
With super results of 69.6% in the 2.2 and 68.7% in the 2.3, he just keeps proving he’s a true dressage pony that loves his job ❤️🦄
He ended up with overall jackpot winner and best performed ott for the day.

Thankyou to the Seymour club for running such a great event, although cold we were lucky to not get the rain, hail or snow we had the day before!

The time has come for my beautiful big boy to find his lucky new human.

Thoroughbred gelding by Denman that has that look at me presence. Successfully competed in EA prelim comps with scores consistently over 65% and currently level 2 HRCAV. Training laterals, 3 lovely paces and ready to move up the grades. Eligible for all OTT comps. Runner up at for 2024 Off The Track...

EOI - this is a tough post to write as I adore this horse but due to current financial circumstances, I’m having to start thinking about finding my beautiful big boy a new home.
I’ve had him since he finished racing with all the hard work done
Details - 10yo, 17.1hh ott by Denman by super sire Lonhro.
Beautiful big horse, that moves well, tries is hardest to please and lovely to ride.
He will be sold only as a dressage horse as he does not enjoy jumping.
3 lovely paces, currently schooling lateral movements etc
Pleasure to float, wash etc. barefoot and a dream to trim.
Has a super coat, so no clipping required.
Numerous wins and placings under his belt in his limited comp career due to Covid and focusing on other horses over the past few years.
Not suited to a beginner rider due to his size, so will require a competent rider to continue to bring out his best. This horse is only just showing what he can do and will easily move up the levels in dressage. Currently in full work and out competing. Recently finished a close second in the Racing Vic ott dressage series.
Will only be sold to the best of homes
