DeFuze Australia creates handmade, essential oil diffusing jewellery & accessories. They’re made from quality components is designed right here in Western Australia.
We began as Lisa, Michelle, and Nicola - 3 Aussie mums with passion, experience, drive… and a whole bunch of kids (that’s 8 kids in total!). Life got hectic, and as Lisa and Michelle advanced in their journeys studying Midwifery and Mental Health, they stepped back from DeFuze in 2019.
We welcomed Pat to the team, and she’s the smiley face you’ll meet at our click and collect location inside Elysium Perth.
Realistic holistic allows us to still love our wine and coffee (!), whilst embracing ethical and sustainable choices, essential oils, and alternative options when they are practical and effective, to create our balanced and considered lifestyles.
Most of our products are handmade in our own homes, usually with a kid or two clinging to our legs - and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
From listening to oilers and passionate #realisticholistic mums around us, we found a common frustration over the lack of diffusing accessories available. Everything we could find was average, and “expected” in the category. There was little creativity in the ranges available, and there hadn’t been any original thought or something groundbreaking for some time. So many of the options were very “alternative”, and wouldn’t suit our realistic holistic lifestyle, let alone our personal style!
We were watching woman after woman LOVING their #EOLife, and developing businesses for themselves through their selected oil brands. BUT: they were telling us that they were struggling to open conversations with potential clients, as their primary topic of conversation was about buying oil or joining a team, and was closing doors as opposed to opening them.
From here, we developed our concept as a solution for the women who want to succeed in their oil business. We would provide them complimentary products, which returns them an income immediately, and gives their customers a lifestyle solution. In turn, these customers become loyal oil purchasers and potential team members, and their oil business would flourish.
Since this moment, we’ve helped numerous oil entrepreneurs grow and develop their business. We’ve provided team rewards and health conscious corporate gifts to some of the largest public and private sector businesses in Australia. We’ve supplied retail stores with our handmade product, and we’ve opened our own online store too. It’s been a great journey so far, and we’ve loved every day of it!

Nicola:
You’ll find Nicola behind the DeFuze scenes, usually with her 2 girls alongside her. Her passion for empowering woman, developing their skills, and sharing knowledge has been the driving force behind DeFuze.
When she's not building websites, planning, directing, or educating, she is busy managing the brands “Ponytails and Fairytales” and “School Ponytails”, “Sports Day Shop”, as well as Australia's original bow fundraiser, "Fundraise with Bows".

Pat:
Pat manages Elysium, where you can book reiki and crystal facials and shop gifts in the beautiful hills of Roleystone. She’s also Nicola’s step-mum!
As a semi-retired mother and grandmother that wasn’t all too keen on being retired, a chance run-in with a psychic guided her towards healing and in turn, the opening of her store. She has a love and appreciation for crystals, and all things holistic - a far cry for her previous corporate life.
Your parcels are lovingly handmade, packed and posted by Pat, and it’s her that you will meet upon order collection!
Lisa, Michelle, & Nicola: Our original trio combined very different personalities to create a very exciting business.
Our stockists know Lisa. She’s a mum of 4 (1 mini me and 3 boisterous boys), and first started using essential oils to help with the emotions surround pregnancy and FIFO life. We know Lisa as driven, selfless, and caring. Nowadays, she’s working part-time, and studying midwifery. She’s found her calling, and is living her best life.
If you’ve ever seen us on Facebook or Instagram, you’d know Michelle. She’s the mumma of a pigeon pair who is passionate about helping the families in her community, from birth and beyond. She’s been featured on the DeFuze Australia blog numerous times, and is so very thoughtful, creative, and mindful. Nowadays, she’s working part-time, and studying mental health. She’s definitely found her calling, and is exactly where she needs to be!
