There’s something really special about a horse that doesn’t come easy… and Yogi has been exactly that 💙

He’s challenged me in ways I didn’t expect — pushed my patience, my understanding, and my ability to really listen. There have been moments where I’ve questioned myself, had to go back to basics, and truly work for every bit of progress.

But I honestly think I needed him.

The kind of horse that makes you step up, think differently, and grow — not just as a rider, but as a horse person. And when things start to click… it means that much more ✨

The other day I rode him through the obstacles, and he didn’t even bat an eye. Quiet, confident, and just took it all in his stride 🐴

It might seem like a small thing to some, but knowing where we started… it feels pretty big.

Proud of this horse and everything he’s teaching me 🤎

Confidence, curiosity, and learning to think — not react.

Research shows horses exposed to varied environments early on become more adaptable and less reactive later in life… and it shows.

Yogi out here doing brave boy things 💪🏽🐋

Not going to lie… there was a moment of consideration when we approached the puddle 👀 A quick “mmm… are we sure about this?”
A brief evaluation of life choices…

But then — big boy pants were pulled UP and he marched straight through like an absolute legend 👏🏽

No dramatics and no Olympic-level detour.
We love to see it 😌

Now… I would just like to respectfully question his princess mumma for a moment 😂
Because she does seem to have a habit of producing children who are just a touch suspicious of things like…uhhh well..everything 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 Jokes aside she has always produced the best babies!

Genetics? Coincidence? We may never know.

But Yogi is out here breaking the cycle 💁🏻‍♀️✨

Super proud of this boy — taking it all in stride and building that confidence with every ride 💙

Our Yogi Bear has had a bit of a glow up since his arrival a few months ago. 🐻💙 Both physically & mentally, he is starting to mature - he will be 3yo in late August.

There is nothing better than seeing your own ponies looking after their little people. 🐴💛

Back in the day we spent many years breaking and producing kids ponies and built a wonderful reputation for turning out quiet, reliable little horses.

These days we don’t do it professionally anymore… but every now and then we still start one under saddle.

And it turns out - we’ve still got it . 😉

All (except 1) of the ponies we’ll be sharing here are sired by our stallion and/or have been broken in by us — and I couldn’t be prouder watching them grow into beautiful kids ponies. ✨

The little breaker’s 4th ride — straight to the beach 🏖️🫶🏽

I honestly couldn’t be prouder of this boy today. Took everything in his stride like he’s done it a hundred times before. Bikes, motorbikes, electric scooters and traffic — absolutely unfazed.

Walked straight into the water without a worry and was even confident enough to lead, which was a huge moment for him.

Such a good brain and a big heart. Very proud mum today ☺️💙

✨ Thank You, The Teeth Man Team!✨

Huge appreciation post for the teeth man team who truly goes above and beyond for our horses 👏🏽🐴

Today he removed the tiniest wolf teeth—one (which was blind) once out was literally the size of a short grain of rice 😳
Something that could have so easily gone unnoticed, but thanks to his attention to detail, patience, and diligence, it was found and removed.

These small things make a huge difference, and it’s exactly why having the right professionals around your horses matters so much.

So grateful for people who take the time to do things properly and always put the horse first 🙌🏽 Thank you for your care, skill, and dedication — our horses are lucky to have you 💙🐎
