🐾 Hi, I'm Leia! 🐾
I'm a 1-year-old Sheepadoodle Mastiff X, which basically means I got the fluffy good looks and the giant heart all rolled into one beautiful package. ❤️

I'm one of the sweetest and most loyal dogs you'll ever meet. Once I choose my people, I'll be right by your side through thick and thin. Whether you're relaxing on the couch, pottering around the yard, or just having a tough day, I'll be there to remind you that you're never alone.

I get along well with my small dog friend, but I do like my food and treats a little too much sometimes. Because of this, I'll need a family who understands how to manage meal times and continue helping me build positive habits around food. I'm a smart girl and respond really well to guidance and consistency.

A couple of things about me:
🐶 I get along with dogs, but careful management around food is important.
🐱 Cats are not my thing.
🐔 Chooks are definitely not my thing.
🌸 I have a skin allergy, but it's manageable and doesn't stop me from living my best life.
❤️ My biggest superpower is how deeply I love my humans.

I'm still young, with so much life, love and adventure ahead of me. If you're looking for a best friend who will love you with her whole heart, I might just be your girl.

Assisted rehoming is an opportunity for CAA to assist owners needing to rehome their pet in the absence of an available foster home or as requested by the owner.

Please be aware that as this is an assisted rehoming and the dog is not currently in the care of CAA. Owners may rehome their pet privately whilst CAA advertises so we cannot guarantee availability.

Upon successful adoption through CAA, we will ensure the dog is:

💛Flea/worming treatment
💙Microchipped
💛Heartworm Tested
💙Desexed

CAA cannot accept financial responsibility for any health issues that may arise once adopted.

🐾 Hi! We’re PADDINGTON and PEABODY, two fluffy Shih Tzu X brothers looking for our forever homes. At just 10 weeks old, we're experts in cuddles, belly rubs, stealing socks, and following our humans absolutely everywhere. Seriously... if you're carrying laundry, expect an audience. 👀🧦

We're both friendly little guys who get along with dogs big and small. We love soft toys, chewing and are learning how the world works. We're clever pups who spend a lot of time watching, listening, and figuring things out. We're still working on our toilet training and will need regular grooming to keep our handsome coats looking their best. We haven't met any cats yet, so we're not sure what we'd think of those mysterious creatures.

🤎 I'm PADDINGTON (the brown and white fluffball).
If confidence came in puppy form, it'd probably look a bit like me! I'm a chunky little bundle of fun who loves to play, explore, and make everyone laugh with my cheeky antics. I'll happily wrestle with another dog one minute and snuggle up for cuddles the next. I think I'd absolutely love a home with kids and another playful dog to help burn off some of my puppy energy.

🖤 And I'm PEABODY (the black and white gentleman).
I'm a softer soul who prefers life a little calmer. Unexpected noise and lots of activity can make me feel overwhelmed, so I'd be happiest in a quieter home with older children or adults. I adore being close to my humans and am happiest when I'm nearby keeping you company. I also take my dinner schedule very seriously and will happily remind you when it's mealtime. 🍽️

We're both looking for homes where we'll be inside as part of the family. We have lots of love, cuddles, puppy kisses, and entertainment to give in return.

This work needs to be done at our preferred vets in Rockhampton or Yeppoon, therefore we are only able to adopt our puppies to persons living in the local area or who visit the area regularly enough to commit to these appointments. All current pets should be desexed and vaccinated.

The adoption fee for each puppy is $350 and includes desexing, microchipping, vaccinations, flea and intestinal worm treatments.

I'm a sweet little Maltese X with a heart full of love, legs built for zoomies and enough energy to keep life exciting. Running is my favourite sport, especially if there's a sprinkler involved.

😂 Playing? My full-time job!

I absolutely adore people and hand out wet kisses like they're going out of fashion. I haven't met any cats or kids yet, but if they're anything like the humans I've met so far, I'll probably love them too.

I'm learning all sorts of clever things, including walking nicely on a lead and playing fetch. Sometimes I even bring the ball back. Sometimes. No promises. 😇

When the adventures are done, I transform from Sporty Spice into Snuggly Spice. I'm fully house trained and love curling up in bed with my humans for cuddles and a good night's sleep.

Good news for your weekend!
Bluey was surrendered by her owners who couldn’t afford to treat her leg after being hit by a car.

You donated towards her surgery and CAA was able to give Alma vets the go ahead to help Bluey.

The decision was made to amputate as her injuries were too severe. Bluey handled treatment tremendously and her smile in the days post op showed the relief she felt. Her pain was gone.

So off to Wendy’s house she went. Wendy agreed to be her foster carer and funnily enough also had a three legged dog of her own.

Fast forward to today and Wendy has become a ‘foster fail’ which sounds negative but in the rescue world it’s very common and beautiful.

The loving hearts that welcome animals into their homes cant bear to say goodbye.
Bluey will stay with her foster carer Wendy and her crew and be her forever girl!

Thank you to everyone who helped Bluey in whatever way they could when we put the call out. Your donations, likes and shares brought us here today.
A Happy ending for Bluey!
