‼️ ATTENTION GLADSTONE and BILOELA ‼️

I am coming to YOU for a weekend of dog training due to demand. I am a dog trainer based in Rockhampton and own Nitro K9 Training. My journey began approximately 10 years ago when I started as a Military Police Attack Dog Handler in the Australian Army. After discharging and moving to Rockhampton, I started NK9T in 2020 to continue my passion for dog training 🐾

I tailor training methods to you and can assist with many issues such as correcting poor behaviours, basic obedience and reactivity/aggression. Sessions are 2 hours long and cover the basics of training theory and practical components, including creating a custom training plan for you to use well after I leave. Multiple dogs, from the same household, can be present in the same session and anyone who will be handling the dog can be present (children may be present but not able to participate under 15).

Sessions are $250 for 2 hours, and I come to you because the best place for your dog to learn is at home (travel costs may apply depending on location).

Dates and times are listed below and sessions are booked on a first come, first served basis, so get in quick!

Saturday 21st of February:
9:30am, 12pm, 2:30pm.

- Biloela
Sunday 22nd of February:
7am, 9:30am, 12pm, 2:30pm.

WE NEED YOUR HELP 👇

Nitro K9 training took a back burner this year after welcoming our first baby. Subsequently, appointment times decreased as we worked out our new life as a family of three and we are so grateful for your patience while we navigated that. Well, 2026 is a new year and we are looking into what that looks like for Nitro K9 so we need some help from you 🫵

If Aleks were to open up weekday training slots, this would include some morning, daytime and occasional late afternoons, would there be demand for that? He would still continue to offer weekend appointments as well.

Let us know in the comments and watch this space - we are looking forward to bringing some fresh changes with the same old Aleks (He is 30 now 🥲) in 2026! 🐶

Nitro K9 would not exist today, without my best mate Nitro. We walked side by side for 5 years and helped shape me into the trainer I am. Rest easy mate 🌹

My journey started as a Military Police Attack Dog Handler in the Australian Army, after discharging and moving to Rockhampton, I started NK9T in 2020 🐾

I use several different methods when training and can assist with many issues such as correcting poor behaviours, basic obedience and reactivity/aggression. Sessions are 2 hours long and cover the basics of training theory and practical components, including creating a custom training plan for you to use after I leave. Sessions cost $240 for 2 hours and is payable as cash at the end of the session. That includes travel to you as I believe it's the best place for your dog to learn (travel costs may apply depending on location).

Saturday 3rd of May:
7am, 9:30am, 12pm, 2:30pm.

Sunday 4th of May:
7am, 9:30am, 12pm, 2:30pm.

Monday 5th of May:
7am, 9:30am, 12pm, 2:30pm.

(Depending on demand Tuesday the 5th times may be released).

📢 NITRO K9 IS BACK 📢

After a few months off and welcoming our first baby - Aleks is back and ready to start training in the Rocky region once again! We have two hour and one hour follow up sessions available for new and old clients. Aleks comes to you in your own home (some areas may have an additional travel surcharges) and sessions are tailored to you and your dog! There are only limited training spaces available each fortnight so send us a PM to start your doggos journey to becoming a su-paw-star ⭐

Hey everyone,

Very exciting news to announce.
I have taken an amazing opportunity to work at Cawarral Boarding kennels 🥳🐾

Unfortunately I will be closing NK9T untill next year at the earliest.
The kennels will be offering a small amount of dog training sessions while I am working there but it will be limited and based out of the kennel location.

Rememberance day; at 11am stop, reflect and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice so we could have the freedoms we have today.

For those who don't know, Nitro K9 training is named aptly after Nitro who sadly passed away in 2019 due to illness. He ignited my passion for dog training and is the reason Nitro K9 exists today. Rememberance day is a reminder of the immense pride I have to of been apart of our Australian Defence force, a reminder of the sacrifices made by many before us and currently in warfares across the world and mostly a day to remember my best mate, Nitro.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. We will remember them 🌺
