My passion is fueled by the ridiculously awesome challenge of cracking the code on Mystery Snail color genetics, where artistry and precision join forces to create mind-blowing, one-of-a-kind hues that are basically a work of art and make me wonder if anything is even possible. It doesn’t end with these rare beauties. 💗🐌

The corydora rescue. Today I revamped the big angelfish tank to also accomodate 7 emerald corydora who had to be put into 2 Kmart tanks when the 5 ft tank sprung a leak. Poor little fish have been so cramped for over a month.
I put a retainer wall in to make a sand dune/pit and a sunken cave for the corys.

The 4ft tank revamp explained.
Making a sand pit for the corydora with a sunken cave. For the retainer wall I thought of using a plastic bottle filled with gravel but that would be too wide so ended up cutting up a large plastic hydroponic pot into sections and stabilising it with egg crate as the base attaching it all together with zippy ties. It fit the width of the tank perfectly. Rocks are weighing it down on both sides and holding it in place. The cave is a large hollow piece of bamboo I already had soaked. I used half a bag of sand and half a bucket of small rocks.
The corys are rescued from the 2x KMart tanks at last.
Funny thing is that the corys are having a ball swimming in and out of the gap behind the eggcrate vertical garden on the back wall. The big tank finally allows them to swim as a schooling fish. Wonderful to watch them. The two big angels are having plenty of WTF moments. 😆

For relaxation, timeout and become uplifted, I sit and watch these beautiful captives. Entertaining for the mind and a good dose of admiration for my Mystery snails. Notice his te****le reaching for where he wants to go then after landing, his te****le checked out the cuttlefish bone. Getting information from his surroundings, how far away is the bottom and can I fit in a somersault landing? How much space is under the cuttle bone? ❤️🐌

Water change 30% and gravel vac day. Small decor changes. Every one seems happy including the tank itself. Sorry about reflections in the glass. 🥸❤️🐌 Please turn on volume. 😊

Moss grid and all male mystery snail and blue moscow guppy tank. 4ft.

The new lids for my tanks are black egg crates that came in 15cmx30cm pieces. They lock together but not securely enough, so today I used a lot of small black zippy ties and constructed lids for my 5ft, 4 ft and two 2ft tanks. Here is a show and tell vid.
