🐶⭐️ DID YOU KNOW that Golden Retrievers are our third most frequent spa guests at Shampoo Smiles? While our fun, loving, gentle Goldies are generally easy going - most often their fur is not…

As many of you know, our founder Dane has always had Goldies in his family. Therefore he knows how to pamper them the best and shares some key tips for making their coats just as golden as their personalities:

💛 Tip 1: Fortnightly to monthly baths with deep-cleansing and nourishing shampoo & conditioner. They love playing dirty, which can severely block their pores and hair follicles stunting hair growth.

💛 Tip 2: Weekly brushing with three different brushes. A slicker brush for keeping the body tangle free, a comb for the featherings and a rake for the undercoat (ideally fine and wide). Only by removing all dead coat, can they truly shine at their best.

💛 Tip 3: Omega Oil supplement to create a healthy, nourished skin from the inside out. We highly recommend our plant-based Omega 3,6 and 9 oil to all our furry friends for that extra lush, light fur.

GUESS WHO IS BACK?! 🐶🎀💅 It’s our favourite little Schnauzer girl Melo (“Mellow”) for her monthly pamper routine…

Her signature styling includes a very short and smooth trim, just a hint of a skirt, filed round nails and a lux argan oil finish for that extra bit of shine 💎

If you could only feel her soft, velvety coat after her beauty treatment, you wouldn’t be able to resist cuddling her for the rest of the day 🥹 We surely cant, spoiling this cheeky girl with cuddles aplenty…
