💙 Staffy Spotlight! 💙

Strong, loyal, and full of love—Staffordshire Bull Terriers are so much more than their tough appearance. These little powerhouses are natural athletes, famous for their cheeky "Staffy smile," and absolutely adore being with their people. They can be a little stubborn (they definitely know what they want! 🤭), often hide pain better than other breeds, and despite all those muscles, many feel the cold and appreciate a cosy jumper in winter.

If you've ever met a Staffy, you'll know one thing for sure... once they love you, they love you with their whole heart. 🐾❤️

Six years ago today, I said goodbye to the dog who changed my entire life.

This is Odie.
Valentines Day 2016, he was my gift to myself.

He wasn't just my dog—he was my best friend, my shadow, my teacher, and the reason Odie's Paw Pals exists.

He taught me patience, unconditional love, and that every animal deserves to feel safe, understood, and deeply loved. Long before there was a business, there was just us. Countless walks, adventures, cuddles on the couch, and the quiet moments that become your whole world without you even realizing it.

When I lost him, I wasn't sure how to move forward. But somehow, his legacy became this business.

Every dog we walk.
Every family we help.
Every nervous pup we build confidence with.
Every wagging tail.

It all traces back to one dog who loved with his whole heart.

This will always be his business. 🤍🐾

🐾 So... who am I?

If you've been here for a while, you probably know me as the face behind this little business. But what you might not know is just how many paws have crossed my path over the years.

Over the last 10+ years I've been lucky enough to wear quite a few hats...

🐶 Dog walker
🎓 Dog trainer
🍼 Puppy school instructor
🐾 Group obedience instructor
🏡 Pet sitter & home visitor
🚗 Pet transporter
🩺 Vet nurse
✂️ Groomer
❤️ Rescue volunteer
🏅 Dog show judge's scribe
🌈 Facility Manager at a pet crematorium
🏛️ Council reference group member

Each role has taught me something different. Every dog, every cat, every family, every wagging tail and every challenge has shaped the way I care for animals today.

My goal has never been to sell a service but to be of service.

Sometimes that means giving your dog the best adventure while you're stuck at work.
Sometimes it means helping you understand why your puppy suddenly thinks socks are food.
Sometimes it means giving you the confidence to enjoy walks together again.
Sometimes it simply means making sure your pets feel safe, loved and cared for while you're away.

Because I truly believe that when we support the humans, we support the animals too.

If I can help strengthen the bond between you and your pet, ease a little stress, prevent a dog from ending up in a shelter, or help keep a beloved companion exactly where they belong—in the home that loves them—then I've done my job.
That's what this business has always been about.
Not just caring for pets.
Caring about the people who love them.
And honestly... I wouldn't have it any other way. 🤍🐾

Every pet is different, and every family deserves support that fits their lifestyle. That's why we offer services focused on keeping your pets happy, healthy, and thriving.

🐾 Dog Walking – Fun-filled 30 or 60-minute adventures packed with exercise, enrichment, and plenty of sniffing.

🎓 Dog Training – Helping you build a stronger bond with your dog through positive, relationship-focused training that lasts a lifetime.

🏡 Home Visits (Coming in 2027!) – Holiday care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets, so your furry (or feathered or scaly!) family members can stay comfortable in their own home while you're away.

No matter the service, our goal is always the same: to care for your pets like they're our own. 💚

Happy 7th Birthday to my sweet boy, Bolt. 🤍
Officially an old man.
He has seen every version of me. The highest highs, the lowest lows, the growth of the company, the losses, the heart breaks, the house moves, the training sessions and everything else life has thrown at us.
After losing Odie, he quietly carried pieces of my heart I didn't know how to hold, I didn't think I could build a bond with another dog like I did with Odie, but he showed me I could.
He became my constant, my comfort, my TIC and my new home.
Happy Birthday, my beautiful boy. 🐾🤍
