I'm posting the thunderstorm forecast for Wednesday earlier than normal, as severe storms may be occurring in western Victoria during the early hours of Wednesday.

Severe thunderstorms are expected throughout Victoria on Wednesday.

The timing of these storms is anticipated as follows:

Western Victoria - morning.
Central Victoria - morning and afternoon.
Eastern Victoria - afternoon and evening.

Thunderstorms are forecast to develop in a band of cloud over western Victoria in the early hours of Wednesday morning, then extend eastward with the cloud band throughout the day.

Additional thunderstorms are possible following the initial cloud band, as colder unstable air moves across Victoria.

DAMAGING WINDS are possible with any thunderstorms, and there is a risk of locally DESTRUCTIVE WINDS along the southwest coastal fringe.

A severe weather warning has been issued for damaging winds for most of the state on Wednesday - https://reg.bom.gov.au/vic/warnings

Hi everyone, just a quick update.
I’ll be working on reduced numbers this week while I’m still recovering. I’m not quite back to full speed yet.
