We are now introducing ENS & ESI to our next litter of puppies β¦.. πΆ
What this means & does gives the puppy the best start for brain body & sensory development.
ENS means - Early neurological stimulation
this involves five gentle exercises to stimulate the nervous system
β’ Tactile Stimulation: Tickling between toes.
β’ Head Erect: Holding the puppy straight up.
β’ Head Down: Pointing the head toward the ground.
β’ Supine Position: Holding the puppy on its back.
β’ Thermal Stimulation: Placing the puppy on a cold, damp cloth.
Benefits: Improved cardiovascular performance, stronger heartbeats, better stress tolerance, and stronger adrenal glands.
ESI means Earky Scent Introduction
this involves introducing a new scent daily for 30 seconds to sharpen the dog's nose.
β’ How: A scent item is placed near the nose to observe reactions (positive, negative, or neutral).
β’ Scents Used: Natural items like herbs, soil, fruit, or fabrics (avoiding chemicals/meat).
β’ Benefits: Increased scent capability, confidence, and better performance for working, tracking, or service roles.
