Please don’t be complacent when it comes to your flea and tick prevention - ticks can be anywhere, in backyards, parks, bushland

I know flea and tick preventative can be expensive, but it’s less expensive than the vet bills if your dog does get a tick 😢

He has played with other dogs but he is a rough player and can be quite jealous. He is not a fence jumper or a digger. He would be best suited on a farm as he is hungry to work. He hasn’t had much

Gumnut Valley Alpacas is proud to announce our school holiday program designed for primary school children in year 4, 5 & 6.

Monday 14 April the first ‘Farmers for a day’ will arrive at 8.30am and learn about our alpacas, goats, donkeys and chickens.

After orientation they will assist with some daily chores such as raking hay, cleaning coops and making grain mixes as well as feeding all the animals, walk alpacas, play with the goats, grooming the donkeys and handle chicks

Morning tea is provided and kids are to BYO lunch. The program concludes at 1pm. The costs are $110 for the session and we have a ratio of 1 trainer per 2 children. We have just eight vacancies to ensure the wellbeing of our animals as well as making it a wonderful experience for the kids.
