Let’s talk about something often forgotten... your dog’s EARS!

🚨 Smelly ears? Redness? Head shaking?
These are all signs something's up - and infections hurt. A LOT.

💡Water doesn’t cause infections - underlying bacteria does. Regular cleaning and proper grooming are key.

What we recommend:
✅ Weekly at-home cleaning (green tea or vet-recommended products)
✅ Ear hair plucking on request during grooming
✅ Keeping an eye (and nose) out for changes

The hair doesn’t stop just because it’s winter! ❄️✂️

Did you know dogs regulate their body temperature differently to us? Keeping their coat consistent in length -not longer- is actually better for comfort and health year-round.
When not maintained, allowing the hair to grow out usually leads to knots and matting, which (in most cases) means a super short buzz cut to fix it!!

Regular Wash & Tidy or Full Groom = a happy, comfy pup (and no cold shave offs!)

After 15+ years of grooming experience, we’ve created a puppy program we’re so proud of - designed to desensitise, build confidence and make sure your pup LOVES the grooming process from day one!

✨ Did you know it only takes one bad grooming experience to cause long-term fear and stress (and yep, that often = extra care fees later)?

🚫 Our top tip- Hold off on the home baths and hairdryers. A scared pup and a loud dryer is not the vibe.

Instead, let us gently guide your puppy through their first grooms the right way - with cuddles, playtime and loads of positive reinforcement.
Our 3-visit program is spaced 2 weeks apart and includes:

Our grooming girls are on fire...

Carla and Taylan have been out on the comp circuit recently - and they’re absolutely smashing it at the Master Level all across Australia!

Carla just got back from Sydney, where she cleaned up at NovoGroom 2025:
🥇 1st Place – Master Salon Freestyle
🏆 Best in Group
🥈 2nd Place – Master Terrier

Taylan took part in the Dogs SA Winter International, competing alongside the NZ Groom Team:
🥈 2nd Place – Masters Poodle Class
🏅 5th Place – Scissor Class with our boy Teddy!

We’re bursting with pride!
A huge congratulations to our incredible Salon Manager, Taylan, who absolutely nailed it at the Sydney Royal Grooming Competition over the Easter break!

Just a week after celebrating his 20th birthday, my beautiful boy Charlie passed away.
I was so lucky to have him in my life for over 11 amazing years, after rescuing him from a puppy farm.

Charlie was my little shadow, always following me around the salon and soaking up cuddles from so many of you.

He had the sweetest soul, and I know how much he meant to all of our wonderful clients too.
To honour his memory, we’ve set up a donation page to help senior rescue dogs Forever Friends Animal Rescue - because the oldies are truly the goodies!

Charlie gave me more love than I could have ever dreamed of, and I’ll carry him with me always.
