8 month old Airedale first strip. Can’t fit a dog this size in the nicely renovated staging area and honestly I’ve never stripped an Airedale or any dog this big. Harsh coat on head will develop in time but for a first strip it was a rewarding transformation

Hand stripping progress photo. Delightful colour on this golden cocker. Best grooming method for skin and coat but unfortunately this cocker is unsuitable for comp so I am still looking for another one

FREE GROOM
model dogs needed for Ausgroom grooming competition in early September
Hand stripping or terrier clipping : mini (stripped or clipped) or standard schnauzer in rolled coat OR border terrier (I currently have a dog for this class but want a back up)
Gun dog: English cocker spaniel and looking for a unicorn. No spay coat and owner must be familiar with English cocker breed standard (no long hair on the head or face or feet)
Deshed: Shetland sheepdog is my preference

As always new clients with rare breeds welcomed because they will be training for future comps

Important announcement: if you have a curly haired mix breed and it is matted, you have two options. Shave it all off. Or ignore advice which is in the interest of health. Regardless you will pay for the time allocated.
$600 in lost wages the past fortnight due to owners preferring neglect over compassion
You would be rightly annoyed too if your pay check was short $600
