NEW UPDATE ON COVID 19 LOCKDOWN EXTENTION !

PERFECT FRIENDS DOG GROOMING WILL CONTINUE TO BE
CLOSED FOR GROOMING UNTIL THIS SUNDAY @ 4PM.

ANY CLIENTS THAT HAVE APPOINTMENTS BOOKED WITHIN THIS TIME, WILL NEED TO BE CANCELLED AND RESCHEDULED FOR A LATER TIME, WHEN LOCKDOWN IS LIFTED BUT WILL MAKE SURE THAT I MESSAGE YOU.

BREAKING: Lockdown will be extended in South-East Queensland until 4pm Sunday 8 August.

If you are in the local government areas of Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan City, Moreton Bay, Redlands, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Noosa, Somerset, Lockyer Valley and Scenic Rim, you can only leave home for the four permitted reasons.

It is so important to limit your movements as much as possible - only leave home if it is essential.

If you do leave home for one of the permitted reasons, you must wear a mask.

Anyone who has been in an impacted local government area since 1am Saturday 31 July must observe the same lockdown conditions wherever you are in Queensland.

These measures are critical to stop the spread of COVID-19 in our community.

Today we have recorded 7 new cases of COVID-19.

6 cases were locally acquired and are currently under investigation. 1 case was overseas acquired and detected in hotel quarantine.

There are currently 46 active cases and 46 are in hospital. To date, 1,720 people have recovered from the disease and sadly, 7 people have lost their lives.

This brings the total number of cases in Queensland to 1,800.

A total of 910,938 vaccine doses have been administered in Queensland (not including the number of vaccinations administered by the Commonwealth Government) and 3,369,042 tests taken.

Each day, total cases may not equal active plus recovered plus deaths, as information for some cases is still pending and will be updated in due course.

Over night some distressing posts have popped up in regards to cruelty and baiting. Please be super vigilant and pay extra attention to your pets behaviour to catch anything out of the ordinary quickly. Below are some examples of posts I have seen:

warning residents of Kingston that someone is baiting dogs. my neighbours puppy passed away today.
another issue found with dogs is a hair tie is being placed around there neck hidden in there fur under the collar, we were lucky to find the hair tie on my puppy while being bathed it had just started cutting into her.

Morning everyone,
Warning we are currently at the vet with our Labrador presenting with all the signs of rat poisoning. We are unsure where she got it from as we never use/have any bait at our home.
Please check your yard and keep an eye on your pets. Any signs or continued coughing especially with any blood take straight to emergency. Location- Burnett drive.
Comment made on same post - Just did 30 hours at aec with our little dude. He started vomiting violently out of no where. We don't use pesticides and Rat poisons etc. We have 1 trap which is dog friendly. No wild shrooms. I check the yard very well. Got me stumped.
We have him home now and I call it a $3200 bad haircut

Welcome back to Perfect Friends Milo, where you had your scheduled monthly groom where you race to me at the front door on your arrival.
You where behaved very well and do every month ecspielly in the mornings when you have your nice warm bath to start our grooming session. 🥰🐶

We absolutely adored having you in the morning where I know at the start you normally don't like mornings but you defiantly do love when the weather becomes more warmer, where you race around with our family dog Zac waiting for your mum to arrive at the front door where you are happy to show off on how handsome you look! 😍 But for now take care and we will see you next time for your scheduled groom 👏👏 .

Here in Brisbane we have thunderstorms approaching so please ensure that all animals are safe and inside our gates as we defiantly don't want them escaping. 🌧 🌧 🌧

While keeping your animals safe, feel free to pay attention to them so then they know that everything is going to be okay. 😊

Please also ensure to drive safely as there could be animals that are out and about. 🚘
