What an incredible Canberra Royal Show for 2025.
We welcomed judges Ken Peddersen and Robert Brown, both from Victoria, who judged their own independent shows on separate days.
Congratulations to Natalie Muenger for her first Best in Show win on the Saturday with her lovely Rex sow, and to Michelle Parker for Runner Up with her DE Golden Boar. Michelle then went on to win Best in Show on Sunday with her young Crested Black, and Reserve in Show going to newcomer Katelyn Taylor with another fabulous Rex.
The massive crowds coming through over the weekend showed so much interest in the cavies, and once again were impressed (and fascinated) at how and why the cavies just sat so still on their show boards - part of what we do as registered breeders is also breeding for temprement, and this is evident in the lovely and calm personalities seen.

A HUGE Shout out to our wonderful Show Secretary Sam Melavirta who has worked so tirelessly in not only the weeks leading up to the Show, but the entire weekend - and big thank you also to Hubby Pete, who also was there to assist over the weekend, the pair spending their 35th wedding anniversary at the show.
