Last weekend the Barwon Stockhorses team headed to Dalby for the JBS Feedlot Community Campdraft. It is such a wonderful way to network with people within the feedlot industry.
What made it all the more special for us was the opportunity to catch up with so many of our family and friends.

Time is running out to lock away last year's service fee price. This special offer will end on 31st August and is only eligible for completed contracts accompanied by the paid booking fee.

2025 service fee: $1500 incl GST and non refundable booking fee of $250 (excludes agistment and mare vet fees)

2026 service fee: $2000 incl GST and non refundable booking fee of $250 (excludes collection fees, agistment and mare vet fees)

🚨 Barwon Compass will be spending time at Darlington Stud Greenmount from mid October through to December.

To celebrate Barwon Compass gaining his Open Campdraft status, he is giving mare owners the chance to lock in the 2025 breeding season prices before a price increase at the end of August.
In order to lock in the fee of $1500 (incl of gst and booking fee), mare owners will need to complete the contract and pay a $250 upfront, non-refundable deposit.

The team headed north east to compete at Proston Golden Spurs Campdraft with exciting results.

🏆🥇Barwon Compass 🧭 has now broken his Open status after a convincing win in the YERWAL ESTATE SIMMINTALE AND ANGUS STUD OPEN DRAFT! He also snagged the highest placed ASHS horse.

🏅Barwon Classic Impression placed 4th in the DUNLOP SANTA GERTRUDIS RESTRICTED OPEN.

The girls had success as well. Jessie placed 5th in the JMH RURAL CONTRACTING JUNIOR and both Jessie and Maddie received ribbons at the sporting events held by Proston Pony Club.

Congratulations to both the campdraft and Pony Club committees on such a well run event. It was our absolute pleasure to be able to attend and be a part of it. A multitude of thanks must go to all sponsors and cattle donors. Without all of you, events like this would not be possible.
