I’m showing you the difference between using a slicker brush and a comb while finishing off his groom and why the comb is so important for finding those sneaky knots hiding close to the skin.

The slicker brush fluffs the coat, but the comb checks that you’ve brushed all the way through.

This is one of the questions I get asked ALL the time, so I’ve decided to create my very own Puppy Grooming Bundles.

Starting young is one of the best things you can do to help your puppy become comfortable and confident with grooming for life.

But THIS is exactly why I put so much time and effort into my puppies from the moment they’re born until they head off to their forever homes.

Sweet Bonnie had her very first pamper with me and she absolutely loved every moment.

From bum scratches, kisses and cuddles to lots of love, she soaked it all up. But the best part? As soon as she was finished, she felt so good that she busted out the happiest zoomies.

Not every dog loves being groomed and that’s okay.

Some dogs shake, hide behind their owners, or get overwhelmed by the sounds, smells and experience of grooming. Those are actually some of my favourite dogs to work with.

I never expect a nervous or anxious dog to just get over it. I take the time to build trust, work at their pace, and make every visit as calm and positive as possible. Sometimes the biggest win isn’t a perfect haircut it’s a wagging tail, a little more confidence, or watching them walk through my door without fear.

Every dog deserves patience, kindness and someone who understands them.

If you have a stressed, anxious or elderly dog that you’ve been worried about getting groomed, I’d love to help. Together we’ll make grooming a positive experience, one visit at a time.
