☆The silver chinchilla point looks lighter than the regular chinchilla; it is almost white, but its shade of whiteness is warmer, the pattern of chinchilla tipping Gray Shadow Alta is not so contrasting due to its lightness. In addition, the color of the chinchilla point is thermodependent: the colder it is in the body where the cat is located, the darker its color. The coat color of colored chinchillas is more pronounced on points: muzzle, tail, ears, paws.
