Today we're celebrating a very special milestone 10 years of service from one of the absolute heartbeats of our clinic ❤️

For the past decade, she's been the warm smile that welcomes you through our doors, the calm voice on the other end of the phone, and the reassuring presence that makes both our clients and their pets feel at ease.

Her kindness, compassion, patience, and genuine care for every person and every furry family member who walks through our doors are what make her so incredibly special. She has an amazing ability to brighten someone's day, even during the most difficult moments.

We are so grateful to have her as part of our East Port Vet family! She loves a hug and gives good ones, can't pass up a sweet treat and is always good for a laugh! We love her 🫶

With the recent detection of H5 avian influenza (bird flu) confirmed in a migratory seabird in Western Australia, the following advice to the public is:

* If you notice sick or dead birds or other animals, you should not touch them. Keep children and pets away.

* If there are multiple dead birds or other animals, take photos or a video.

* Record your location and report it to the 24-hour Emergency Animal Disease Hotline on 1800 675 888.

We've had this spicy Corella dropped into the clinic this morning! Full of personality and his wings have been clipped previously.
Found near PCYC in PMQ. Quite possibly has been in someone's care and escaped 🤷🏼‍♀️
If anyone can shed any light on this guy, we'd appreciate it 😊

It’s been three weeks since we transitioned to an entirely new practice management system, along with all the changes that come with it, and it’s been challenging to say the least.

There have been tears, tantrums, moments of manic laughter, and plenty of learning along the way, but we’ve continued to support one another and work through it as a team. It’s certainly been a humbling experience for many of us 🥴

We would like to sincerely thank you for your patience, understanding, and kind words of support during this transition. Your encouragement truly makes a difference and means more than you know.

While we’ll be navigating these changes for some time yet, we’re becoming more confident every day. We look forward to continuing to care for your pets and families with the same dedication and compassion you’ve come to expect from us.

25 YEARS! 🎉

Recently, we celebrated Stacey’s 25 years at East Port Veterinary Hospital with a surprise high tea!

Many of you have seen Stace evolve throughout the years, adapting to many different roles. She truly is the captain of our giant ship. Stacey spends so much of her spare time behind the scenes, making sure the day-to-day workload is balanced and everything runs seamlessly. She is a role model, mentor, advocate and confidant to everyone at our practice.

We are so lucky to have her. She makes every single one of us feel supported, protected, and appreciated. We truly believe we have such a long-standing, amazing team thanks to Stacey’s dedication.

Her skills are second to none in every aspect of this job, even if she cuts nails a little too short 😉
