A little bit about myself for our newest members.
My name is Helen and I'm in my forties.
I have had birds of all size and ages since I was young.
My husband and I have had cats, dogs, rabbits, cows, sheep, horses, a mouse, goats chickens, geese you name it we have had them. Hey he even gave me three turkeys for an anniversary gift. Now thats love.
I live at home with three children in Port Macquarie aged 16, 18 and 18 yes twins. They all love birds and help me.
Sadly my husband passed away.
I have a new partner Daniel who is new to birds but a big softie who is eager to learn and help.
I also work as a registered nurse. So if I'm not home my children are always happy to welcome you into our house.
I don't commonly sell birds but often get asked if I can rehome them. So if you are looking or can no longer keep one reach out no judgment here. I just want happy and safe environment for your feathered pet.
I rarely go away as I have four cats, a dog and let's say a few birds of my own.
I have been bird sitting for the last almost four years. Have met some great people who I consider part of my family.
I could charge more and often get asked why I don't.
The answer is I love birds. Money means very little to me. Birds are full of love and personality 💕.
Life is short do what makes you happy. My family and birds make me hapoy.
I don't bird sit at anyone's house but do make some exceptions where possible just reach out.
Some birds do die or get lost sadly that can happen at your place or mine. Accidents do happen and I will do whatever I can to help but if you accept me looking after your bird you have to accept same and I can't be help responsible.
I can look after aviary birds and tame birds from a day to a year. I will love them and treat them like my own whilst they are here.
