An impromtu visit from Harvey and his family today sparked a reunion of mother and sons... Roxy is mum to both of these boys, Ollie (black) and Harvey (yellow). The boys are half brothers and are very similar in height and weight. Roxy is very yellow compared to Harvey. We also had the pleasure of Harvey's sister Tilley who is a gorgeous girl 😍 Thanks Robynne and Mick for bringing the family over. Thanks to Tegan and Shane for bringing Roxy down to the reunion as well.

A timely reminder to all pet owners - DO NOT give your pet dog or cat any of your Christmas ham.

"Christmas ham and ham bones are a huge no no," the Animal Referral & Emergency Centre said.

The fat and salt content of this delicious Christmas treat will wreak havoc on the gastrointestinal system of our beloved fury family members," they said.

"Christmas ham isn’t the only culprit that can cause our pets illness over the festive season.

"Often our pets will have increased access to chocolate, grapes, nuts and fruit cake, which are all capable of causing serious and sometimes life threatening illness."

The poor dog in this picture is Gordie — last year he ate an ENTIRE 2.2KG Christmas ham. His owners brought him into the vet for help.

Just a heads up to anyone looking for puppies...

I have just been sent a message with screenshots from a puppy buyer who was sent photos of our puppies from our page. The scammer has possibly used a very similar email address to ours as well.

At this time we DO NOT have puppies for sale.

If you are looking for Pedigree Purebred Labradors, the ONLY way to guarantee you get that is to buy from an ANKC registered breeders. The easiest way to source such a breeder to search for listings on dogzonline.com.au

If you are looking to buy a puppy, please do thorough research like the puppy buyer that got in contact with us. It is very easy in this day and age to be scammed 😔

This is something that we often hear about in the registered breeders circle. Please be fully aware and do your research when buying any puppy (not just a labrador) to make sure that your breeder is registered through the ANKC. You can always check with your state's governing body e.g. DogsNSW, DogsVIC to make sure your breeder is legitimate and currently registered.

I have been made aware tonight (15/05/2020) of elaborate scam of someone that is impersonating as a registered breeder with Dogs Victoria that is going by the prefix ‘GEMBIE’ or ‘GEMBIE LABRADORS’

They are going by the name ‘EMILY MCGRATH’
Using the email address [email protected] and are using a fake contact number.

They are contacting families with ‘wanted to buy’ adds on gumtree claiming that they have puppies available and asking them to pay a $400 deposit to secure one from them.

They have been downloading photos off of my page, cropping off my prefix from them and sending them out to prospective buyers.
They have also somehow acquired my adoption confirmation email from a litter of mine from last year, and are using the registered pedigree names of Dam & Sire of this litter. The email they are using is an email that I sent out to the adopting families from my litter born on the 20th of November 2019 by MARGEMBIE KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF and NZ CH. JANCERIE JUMPING JACK FLASH, and changed the prefix from MARGEMBIE to the fake prefix of GEMBIE.

Please note that this is in no way associated with MARGEMBIE LABRADORS and I do not have any puppies available for adoption at the moment.

Please do your research before committing to buy a puppy.
Unfortunately there are a lot of untrustworthy people out there.
