🐾 ONE WEEK OLD 🐾

Just like that, our beautiful little babies are already one week old! 🥹❤️

They are doing absolutely amazing — growing, thriving and getting cuter by the day. 🐶✨

For now, their days are pretty simple… eat, sleep, snuggle with Mum and repeat! 😂🍼💤

We are so excited to watch these little ones grow and see their personalities start to shine over the coming weeks. ❤️

🌊🐾 BEACH DAY WITH HARLEY QUINN 🐾🌊

A little break from the show ring for our beautiful Landaverg Harley Quinn 💕🐕‍🦺

Today was all about sandy paws, salty air and a swim at the beach! 🌊☀️ Safe to say Harley absolutely loved every minute of it. 😂💦

This is exactly what we want for our dogs — not just beautiful German Shepherds for the show ring, but confident, happy, well-socialised family dogs who are always ready for the next adventure. ❤️

Our puppies are raised as part of our family here at Landaverg German Shepherds, with plenty of love, exposure and life experiences from the very beginning. 🐾

Last weekend we attended the GSDL State Breed Assessment in Sydney, under Judge Jean Butterfield (SA), and what a wonderful weekend it was! ❤️

It was so lovely catching up with old friends, making new ones and, most importantly, watching my girls continue to grow and improve. I couldn’t be prouder of them both — they have certainly come a long way since their last show. 🥰

We were so excited to walk away with:

🏆 VP1 Landaverg Harley Quinn
🏆 VP1 Landaverg Glory

And then Frankie decided Polly couldn’t have all the fun! 😂

Frankie stepped into the Junior Handlers ring for the very first time and handled Gii Gii absolutely beautifully, taking 1st place in her class! 🥰👏

She’s officially hooked and already ready for the next show!

Who would have thought that all those years of lugging Frankie around in a pram at dog shows would finally pay off! 😂❤️

A huge thank you to Stella Weston for beautifully handling both Harley and Gii Gii. We are so grateful for your help and support. 🖤🩷

Newcastle & Hunter Region German Shepherd Championship Specialty Show.

What a wonderful weekend spent at the Newcastle & Hunter Region German Shepherd Championship Specialty Show!

I’m so incredibly proud of our girls, (Harley) Landaverg Harley Quinn, ( Zilla) Landaverg Hold My Halo, and ( Gii Gii) Landaverg Glory, who all received lovely critiques from both New Zealand judges across the two days. They gained some invaluable experience, and we now have a clearer idea of what we need to continue working on moving forward.

Overall, I couldn’t be prouder of how they presented themselves, their attitude, and the way they handled the atmosphere of a Specialty Show. 🖤

Paris and Allie — you girls are amazing, and honestly, no one would have guessed you were total rookies! You both did such a fantastic job, and I’m so incredibly proud of the effort, dedication, and care you put into Zilla.

To my NZ cheer squad, Ash and River — thank you so much for taking the time to come along and lend a hand. It was so lovely seeing you both, and we truly appreciated your support. 🖤

Polly had the absolute best time participating in the Junior Handlers class. She was grinning from ear to ear all the way home and has proudly taken her new drink bottle to school every day this week! 😂❤️

A huge thank you to the beautiful Stella for presenting my girls so beautifully, and a special shout-out to Chelsea for being my double handler. Stella, you always do such a fantastic job, and I truly appreciate the care, professionalism, and effort you put into each of them. They were in the very best hands. ❤️

A massive thank you to the Newcastle & Hunter Region German Shepherd Dog Club, the committee, stewards, and everyone involved in organising such a well-run and enjoyable event. Your hard work and dedication are truly appreciated.

🐾 KITT – Looking for the Right Home 🐾

We are seeking an exceptional home for Kitt, a 2½ y.o entire male (mains pedigree) who deserves an owner willing to appreciate him for who he is.

Kitt is a loyal, intelligent dog who thrives when he has a close connection with his people. He is happiest as part of everyday life rather than simply being a dog in the backyard. He enjoys having space to move, a purpose, and people he can call his own.

Having spent time around cattle, Kitt would be particularly well suited to a rural or acreage property where he can enjoy a quieter lifestyle and become a valued companion. He is naturally observant and aware of his surroundings, making him an excellent watchdog who will alert to visitors and unusual activity around the property.

Kitt is social with other dogs and would happily share his home with a suitable female companion. He is not suited to living with other male dogs.

While Kitt is devoted to those he knows, he can be reserved with unfamiliar people and prefers the opportunity to get to know new individuals on his own terms. He would be best matched with someone who understands that trust and relationships are built over time.

This is not a decision we are making lightly. We are committed to finding Kitt a home where he will be understood, valued, and given every opportunity to succeed. In return, he will offer unwavering loyalty, companionship, and a genuine bond that is worth investing in.

🐾 7 Week Puppy Update 🐾

These beautiful babies are now 7 weeks old and their personalities are really starting to shine! They are confident, playful, affectionate, and keeping us entertained every day.

They have been enjoying plenty of socialisation, exploring new environments, meeting new people, and getting lots of cuddles. Their little ears are starting to do all sorts of funny things and they are growing into gorgeous young dogs.

The puppies have had their health checks and are thriving. We couldn’t be happier with how this litter is developing.

🐾 6 Week Puppy Update 🐾

The babies are now 6 weeks old and full of personality! ❤️

They are becoming more confident every day, exploring new environments, playing with their littermates, and learning important social skills. Their little characters are really starting to shine through, and it’s always amazing to watch them grow and develop.

This week we’ve continued introducing new sights, sounds, surfaces, and experiences to help build confident, well-rounded puppies. They’re enjoying plenty of cuddles, playtime, and of course lots of delicious meals! 🦴

Only a couple more weeks until they begin their next big adventure with their forever families. 🏡
