Dr. Isabel’s support for the pets of our region goes far beyond her own mobile veterinary service 💕

Over the years, she’s worked closely with a number of local clinics — and the incredible staff who call them home — including Oxley Highway Veterinary Hospital, East Port Veterinary Hospital, Timbertown Vet Hospital, and Greencross Vets 🐶🐱 She steps in wherever she’s needed most: covering busy periods, supporting emergency cases, and working after hours as part of clinic on-call rosters to help care for clients and their pets when it matters most.

Dr. Isabel has become a trusted and familiar face in the veterinary community across the Hastings.

She’s not just a mobile vet, she’s a clinic supporter, a community ally and a calm, capable presence when things get tough.

Dr. Isabel lives right here in Port Macquarie with her beautiful family; her partner, their two children and two absolutely spoilt (and very loved) dogs, Bilbo and Juniper 🐶🐶

If you’re a local, chances are you’ve seen her around town or heard her name from just about every pet owner you know. As Port Macquarie’s only mobile vet, Dr. Isabel has been delivering high-quality veterinary care straight to the homes of local families for years.

One of her greatest passions is providing gentle, compassionate end-of-life care at home. She believes that saying goodbye should be as peaceful and stress-free as possible, a moment grounded in love, dignity, and understanding 🐾🌈

Because she believes our pets deserve nothing less 💜

Before she was a vet, she was that kid 😂 the one who brought home every stray, bandaged every bird, and turned her backyard into a mini sanctuary.

Originally from Malaysia, Dr. Isabel’s love for animals began early. Whether it was bottle-feeding orphaned kittens or patching up injured wildlife, she always found a way to help 💕 That instinct to care, to heal, and to advocate for animals has never left her, it’s only grown stronger.

From the streets of Malaysia to the coast of Port Macquarie, her journey has been fuelled by compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for all creatures great and small.

Nat will be right there beside you and your dog, helping with positioning, reinforcing good efforts, demonstrating exercises and building your dog’s confidence every step of the way 🐾

She’s got the skills, the knowledge and of course, the treats, to keep tails wagging and progress moving. Whether it’s your dog’s first class or their tenth, Nat’s support makes all the difference 🙌

Nat has the kind of calm, caring energy that animals just seem to trust instantly 🐾💛

Whether she’s working alongside Dr Isabel on the road, running classes at our REACH facility or nursing at Timbertown Vet Hospital, Nat builds a quiet, confident connection with every patient she meets.

With a soft voice, gentle hands and yes… a stash of treats in every pocket 😄, she helps animals feel safe, seen, and supported 🐾

If you can believe it, Nat’s career did a full 180 about seven years ago 🛍️➡️🐾 Before becoming a vet nurse, she was managing huge teams and busy retail stores in some of Sydney’s biggest shopping centres.

Why the change? It was fast-paced and high-pressure, but the customers weren’t nearly as cute (or as well-behaved 😅). So she followed her heart and found her true calling in animal care 🐶🐱

The career change? Best decision ever ✅
The clients? Way nicer 😂
The team? So lucky to have her 💕

Must love animals? ✅ Nat’s got that covered (and then some!) 🐾

Nat’s passion for animals shines through in everything she does. Whether she’s holding a kitten for a vaccination, giving a dog some laser therapy or helping out in our Paws In Motion: Canine Conditioning Classes, she brings care, calm and kindness to every moment.

She’s also a proud fur mum to Sidney the Italian Greyhound (you’ve probably seen his little face in our posts!) and recently welcomed a new addition—Stella the cat, who’s already ruling the household like the queen she is 👑🐱

Loving animals isn’t just part of the job, it’s a way of life. And Nat lives it beautifully 🙌
