As such we endeavour to provide a personalised service which incorporates the highest quality veterinary care for every patient. One of our guiding principles is to share with you how much we care before we show you how much we know. We, like many others, are in the business of caring for pets, we have no doubt however that when we become a part of your extended family, you will know what sets us apart. We generally strive to offer same day appointments, with emergencies and unwell patients always given priority. We run extended consulting hours to ensure we can always find an appointment that suits you.

🐾 Stiff Joints, Slow Steps? It Might Be Arthritis 🐶🐱
Just like humans, our furry friends can develop arthritis — especially as they get older. Arthritis is a common condition that causes joint pain and stiffness, and it can really affect your pet's quality of life.

Signs to watch for:
Slower to get up or lie down
Reluctance to jump, run, or climb stairs
Limping or stiffness, especially in the mornings
Less interest in play or walks
Avoiding using the litter tray

🦷 Baby Teeth Aren’t Just for Humans! 🐾

Did you know pets have baby teeth too? These are called deciduous teeth, and just like in humans, they eventually fall out to make way for adult teeth.

Puppies and kittens typically start losing their baby teeth around 3–6 months of age. Sometimes, though, a baby tooth doesn’t fall out on its own — we call this a retained deciduous tooth, and it can cause crowding, discomfort or damage to your pets mouth.

If you notice extra or misaligned teeth in your growing or adult pet, bring them in for a checkup. A quick dental check can prevent bigger problems down the line! 😁🩺

Kenji 🐶 providing plenty of smiles for our Monday 🤭

Kenji visited us for a Spay, as well as a hernia repair. 🩺

A hernia is when fat or organs push through a weak spot in the muscle, often showing as a soft lump—commonly near the belly button, groin, or bottom 😔

Some are harmless, but others can be serious and need surgery. Some signs to keep aware of include:
• A soft lump or swelling (particularly in the groin area).
• Pain or discomfort when touched.
• Straining to p**p or difficulty urinating.

Fortunately, with Dr Sam’s expertise and help, Kenji was able to walk away feeling better then ever. 🤩
