Clare Downs Performance Horses Breeding quality horses using Welsh D Cob, Connemara and Thoroughbred lines. We breed for athleticism, good conformation and excellent temperament.

Clare Downs Performance Galloway Stud was established in 2004 to meet the needs of children coming off very talented performance ponies but not wanting to make the big move to horses. We established the stud to provide quality galloways. Our thoroughbred broodmares have been specifically chosen for our breeding program as we wish to specialise in breeding Galloways with calm, trainable temperament

and correct conformation with adequate bone to be able to perform in all disciplines and areas of Equestrian Sports and recreation. We have two different breeds with our stallions, being Welsh D Cobs and Connemara as both are renowned for their jumping and dressage abilities and quiet intelligent nature. Both breeds hold a special place in our hearts and we will also be breeding purebreds of both along with our first crosses. Clare Downs Performance Galloway Stud is situated in the heart of the Porongurups only 12kms from Mt Barker Western Australia and 40 minutes from Albany. Visitors are always welcome just give us a call.

STUD HAND POSITION AVAILABLE

Commencing July for an experienced stud hand. Must be confidant handler of Thoroughbred Broodmares, Yearlings and Foal Handling.

Short term full time position of 3 months.

We are located in Mt Barker WA and position would suit person with own transport.
