Say hello to Ivy, the tiniest (and spunkiest!) little Cairn Terrier pup. She visited Dr. Mel for her puppy check-up, vaccinations, and of course—plenty of cuddles from our whole team 🐶✨

💥IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR RABBIT OWNERS💥

The NSW government will be commencing a wild rabbit control program which involves releasing a rabbit calicivirus strain called RHDV1-K5 starting on the 1/3/25.

We CAN help protect our pet rabbits from this virus through vaccination combined with other means- vaccination is recommended to be given prior to release on 1/3/25.

RHDV1-K5 can be passed onto your pet rabbits through mosquito/fly bites, direct contact with infected wild rabbits and even by humans walking in an area that has had an infected rabbit has the potential to unknowingly bring this virus home (via shoes, clothing) to your pet rabbit.

Signs include inappetence, lethargy decreased defacation, pale gums and bleeding.

Best way to protect your rabbit is:
Vaccination
Insect netting over their hutch or keep indoors
Take shoes off before entering the area your rabbit roams
Wash hands before handling

We are proud to announce we have partnered with the central coast council to bring additional doggie poo bags to the Peninsula! For 10 years we have been supplying them to Kiddy corner but have recently added 4 more dispensers along the beach front to the Ettalong ferry wharf.

Our small business has committed to 3000 bags a week to help preserve the environment and dog off lead areas we are so privileged to have.

Please bear in mind these are not designed to supply the community for their personal use on a day to day basis. These are for people who forget or run out of bags.

We encourage a 2 bag limit to ensure everyone has access to a bag when they need one. They are re filled by volunteers and we will be stocking a limited number per week so everyone should please remember to bring their own.

Please share with others so we can all work together to maintain our beautiful coastal areas!
