Hi, my name is Dr Zoe Manning, I am a veterinarian focusing on equine dentistry. My focus is caring for the well-being of your horse, through low stress equine dentistry. And will travel for one or more horses. What’s included in a routine dental visit:
• Full oral examination by a veterinarian
• Sedation
• Dental Float to remove sharp points and balance the mouth

🌟 Weekend Wrap‑Up from Elmore! 🌟

Trista has just spent the weekend at Elmore Equestrian Park for the Top Teams Trophy 3PE, proudly hosted by her riding club — Bendigo & District Family Equestrian Group — the second time they have hosted in it's four‑year history.

Between cheering on riders, being on the organizing committee, helping out, and soaking up the atmosphere, she also got to catch up with so many of Dr Zoe’s lovely patients and their wonderful owners. Absolute highlight.

And it got her thinking…
We all love our horses, but we all love them in our own way. So tell us — what’s your favourite thing to do with your horse?

🦷❄️ 𝑪𝒉𝒆𝒗𝒚, 𝑮𝒆𝒓𝒓𝒚 & 𝑺𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒔 — 𝑨𝒏𝒏𝒖𝒂𝒍 𝑫𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝑫𝒂𝒚 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑻𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂’𝒔 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒅

It was the Trista’s turn to get her horses in last week, with Chevy, Gerry and Sparkes all in for their routine 12‑monthly dentals.
The best part? Because they’re kept on a regular schedule, each of them only needed minimal adjustments — just small tidy‑ups to keep everything comfortable, balanced and healthy.

Routine dental care really does pay off:
🐴Less change needed each visit
🐴Early detection of any developing issues
🐴Happier mouths, happier horses
🐴 Peace of mind for their humans - knowing they are going into winter in the best shape! Not that's an issue for the grey ponies! 🐋 🦛

And in true Trista fashion… she managed to book the chilliest morning in Victoria for her own horses’ appointment. Surely as she handles the bookings she could have picked a better day!
There was even snow in parts of the state that morning — perfect weather for a warm rug and a dental check, apparently.

The horses took it all in stride, proving once again that regular care keeps everything calm, predictable and stress‑free.

🫏💛 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅 𝑫𝒐𝒏𝒌𝒆𝒚 𝑫𝒂𝒚 — 𝑪𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑮𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝑺𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒔 𝑾𝒉𝒐 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒚 𝑺𝒐 𝑴𝒖𝒄𝒉

Today is World Donkey Day, a day dedicated to recognising the incredible role donkeys have played in human history — and still play today.
These humble, hardworking animals have supported communities for centuries, yet they’re often the most overlooked when it comes to care and welfare. Today is about honouring them, protecting them, and celebrating the joy they bring into our lives.

We were privileged to see that joy firsthand recently when Dr Zoe treated Melanie’s beautiful donkeys.
From their soft noses to their gentle curiosity, they were absolute treasures — and Daisy even insisted on giving Melanie a big, heartfelt cuddle mid‑visit. Moments like that remind us why we do what we do.

Dental care isn’t just for horses — donkeys need regular checks too to stay comfortable, healthy and happy.
And judging by the smiles (and snuggles), these two certainly approved.

🫏💙 Here’s to the donkeys who work quietly, love deeply, and brighten the world in their own gentle way.
