IMDT accredited, Cert IV in Animal Behaviour and Training and continued studies in Concept Training (UK and Canada). I want to help improve your dog’s life. Let’s talk and meet to assess their needs, identify problem areas. Together we’ll identify what needs to change and what we need to strengthen. First we’ll stop your dog practicing unwanted behaviors by managing the environment, they become wh

at they can rehearse. Then we’ll create a training plan. There is no judgement, you are doing the best you can with all the information you have. I’ll teach you and your dog practical skills to help handle real-life situations. I use force-free, positive reinforcement training methods, positive reinforcement is more than just handing out treats— with time, structure, consistency, patience and empathy we strengthen and teach the behaviours we want meaning your dog will be more likely make right choices in the future, eventually the right choice selection becomes automatic. I offer One-on-One Training (home consults) and Puppy Consults (pre-puppy arrival and post puppy arrival). Coming soon!

Are you getting frustrated when your dog doesn't do something at the park that you KNOW they can do at home. Now you're getting frustrated! They are just being difficult! GRRRR!...They aren't, dogs aren't out to make your life hard, tgey aren't vindictive or stubborn. They are doing the best they can, with the information we have given them, in the environment we put them in. Identify where their training level actually is and then build incrementally from there. We can't just teach a dog to recall in our back yard and expect them to do it in an exciting park. Each new environment needs new training, layer upon layer, for the learning to be successful.

I'm excited to announce Puppy Kindy, developed and run by Foxy Dogs Dog Training at Wembley Vet Hospital in Jolimont. Come and gain an understanding and appreciation of Concept Training as well as traditional Behaviour Training along with finding out everything you need to know about your new puppy (details on the website). Registrations for the November classes and expressions of interest for the January 2027 classes are now being taken. A 2nd class will be added in November if Saturday books out - minimum numbers apply.
