Thank you Cheryl for looking after me so well when mom and dad went away. I nearly had to go to the kennel which makes me very anxious. Instead I got to stay home and after night 1 felt relaxed enough to give some cuddles and by night 3 even trusted you with my most precious toy. The highest praise I can give indeed! Furry Flashbacks #5: Louis 🐈‍⬛

When I first met Louis, the beautiful Russian blue cat, he was a bit shy and uncertain, which makes sense for an 18 year old boy! After 3-4 days he started coming closer and we ended up enjoying some cosy cuddles together before the pet sit ended. I loved listening to Louis’ cheeky meows to open the garage door every night so he can have a wander 🤣

Furry Flashbacks #3: Peach & Panda 🧡

It was a pleasure looking after Peach and Panda for 12 nights last September 😍 They were the most adorable little souls who loved cuddles, naps, and playing with their bully sticks. I loved seeing them relaxing with their little tongues out and snuggling up to me every night-one on each side so no one feels left out!

🔥 Hot weather isn’t just uncomfortable — it can be dangerous for dogs.

Before you walk your dog, remember the 5-second rule:
If you can’t keep the back of your hand on the pavement for 5 seconds —
it’s too hot for their paws!

Hot ground = burned pads.
Overheating = real risk of heat stroke.

🐶 Choose grass
🌅 Walk early morning or late evening
💧 Hydration is non-negotiable
❄️ When in doubt — stay cool indoors

Because caring for dogs means protecting them — even when they can’t tell us it hurts 🤍
