Wrong petdoor and wrong size of petdoor can cost you more long term.
Fortunately the dog wasnt hurt just very shocked as was the customer.
This petdoor wasn't for glass nor was it the right size for a groodle.
This Glass panel exploded after being installed a couple of weeks prior when the dog squeeze through .

After no response from the previous installer .
The customer reached out to Winnie Pet Doors .
We supplied and installed our xl winniepetdoor with 6 mm clear polycarbonate flap and lockable internal security panel.

This customer's dog damaged the flap on their existing pet door. So they did a temporary fix as locating a new flap proved very difficult.
Plus customer required a more practical and durable stronger solution to prevent this from happening again.

If you've got a big powerful dog you know the feeling: that sudden ,thunderous Crash as they rocket through the petdoor at mach 10 the flap flys off or breaks .
That was our reality when we welcomed our rescue bulldog, Churchill, into our family from staffy and bulldog rescue.
Churchill didn't just use the petdoor- he exploded through it.
Even when it was locked ,
It started with a few bits and pieces to create a prototype.
The results were instant .
Not only did it completely stop Churchill from BURSTING through the door but the side effect was it trained him to slow down and use the door at a calmer slower pace.

Looking for security in your large petdoor .
Barrel bolts held in place with rivets into a plastic flap can be pushed in.
As can plastic slide locks.
Not very secure especially if your going away on holiday and want to secure your home .
