🎃🐾 Trick for Treats - Midweek update 🐾🎃

This week at PawPals the dogs have been taking part in Trick for Treats ✨

Each dog has their turn with a team member to try something simple - sit 🐶, paw ✋, spin 🔄, or even just waiting calmly before taking a reward 🍪 It’s not about having the best trick, it’s about giving them a moment to focus, build confidence, and enjoy that one-on-one time with us.

These short, structured sessions give the dogs a chance to use their brains 🧠 and practise their listening 👂 - skills that go a long way inside and outside of daycare.

Week 4 of Howl-O-Fest has arrived, and this one’s all about showing off some skills.

Every dog will get their turn to try a trick - from simple sits and high fives to spins or even just waiting calmly before taking a treat. Big or small, every effort will be celebrated (and rewarded)!

It’s fun and a lovely way to build confidence, focus, and connection with the team. Plus, let’s be honest… seeing a whole playground of pups doing tricks is ridiculously cute 🐶✨

Jami has been working in the animal industry since she was 16 – starting out in a pet shop, then moving into vet nursing before discovering that her true passion is dog grooming. With over 10 years of grooming experience, Jami has a gift for making every dog look and feel their best. She never gets tired of the rewarding feeling when owners see their dogs after one of her makeovers.
At PawPals, Jami is our Makeover Magician ✨ Her gentle, caring nature makes dogs feel calm and safe in her hands, and her styling skills turn scruffy pups into polished superstars.

What another fun-tastic week!

We welcomed three new puppa’s this week
🐶 Molly & Lucy two very sweet sisters to our Tuesday group
🐶 Jango who may be a little shy but will definitely make friends in no time

We also celebrated two birthdays
🎂 Freya turned 7 years old!
🎂 Peanut turned 2 years old!

We also started getting into the Halloween spirit this week, with some apple bobbing 🍎 🎃 👻
