Hi everyone!

I wanted to share a little update regarding some unexpected changes happening at The Hound Boutique over the coming weeks.

Unfortunately, my wonderful assistant Asha will be leaving us as she takes the exciting next step of running her own grooming business full-time! While I’m incredibly happy for her and wish her all the success in the world, I’m certainly going to miss having her around! ❤️

As many of you know, The Hound Boutique is a small, one-on-one grooming salon, and with Asha leaving, I’ll be returning to working entirely on my own.

This means I’ll need to make some significant adjustments to my schedule and reduce my overall workload to ensure I can comfortably and sustainably manage the salon on my own.

Over the coming weeks, I’ll be taking some time to carefully review and reorganise my appointment schedule to accommodate these changes.

For the time being, I’ll be putting any additional bookings on hold until I’ve had a chance to work through my calendar and establish what my availability will look like moving forward.

My priority has always been to provide a calm, comfortable and personalised grooming experience for every dog in my care, and I want to ensure I can continue maintaining that standard without overextending myself.

I kindly ask for a little patience and understanding while I navigate these changes. ❤️

I’m so incredibly grateful for the ongoing support and loyalty you’ve all shown my little business. It truly means more than you know!

You’re never too experienced to learn something new!

Yesterday, Benny and I had the wonderful opportunity to attend a grooming workshop led by the incredibly talented May Wong, a highly respected and internationally recognised groomer, educator and competition judge! ✂️🐾 and what a wonderful experience it was!

I truly believe that continued education and upskilling are so important in this industry. Even after 14 years of grooming professionally, I still jump at every opportunity to learn, refine my techniques and grow as a groomer.

There’s always something new to learn, a different technique to try or a way to improve on what we already know. No matter how many years you’ve been doing something, there’s always room for growth! 🩷

And of course, I couldn’t be prouder of my beautiful Benny, who came along as my little model for the afternoon. He was an absolute angel and took the whole experience in his stride! 🥹🐶

Feeling inspired, grateful and excited to put what I’ve learnt into practice!
