🐾 Some Safety Tips for your furry ones:

• Keep chocolate and hot cross buns (especially those with raisins) out of reach – they’re toxic to pets

• Be mindful of fatty foods that can cause stomach upsets

• Secure rubbish bins – curious pets love leftovers

• Watch out for decorations and small items that could be swallowed

• Ensure pets have a quiet, safe space if you’re hosting gatherings

Meet Franki & Bobbi, two adorable 1-year-old Maltese x Chihuahua x Silky Terriers who could melt the toughest of hearts 🥰. They came to us last week for desexing and, after seamless procedures, we're pleased to report they’re both recovering well & looking forward to getting their cones off soon 💕

This handsome pup is a 3 month old Weimaraner named Duncan who came to us last week for his second vaccination 🐾 He was a very brave boy and enjoyed a special treat afterwards as a reward 🏆

This is lovely little Gizzy, a 9 year old long coat Chihuahua who came to us recently suffering from the effects of canine Pancreatitis 😢

Pancreatitis is a painful and potentially serious condition that can come on suddenly but with prompt veterinary care, most pets recover well. Knowing the signs can make all the difference:

- Vomiting
- Loss of appetite
- Lethargy or weakness
- Abdominal pain indicated by hunched posture, crying or restlessness
- Diarrhoea
- Dehydration

Treatment often includes intravenous fluid therapy, pain relief, dietary changes and close monitoring. Gizzy is now at home and doing much better with lots of love and care from her owner 🥰

This is beautiful little Chica, an 8 yr old Papillion x, who came to us recently for a dental. This included a scale and polish and dental x-rays with extractions. Chica is doing well and went home with a fabulous new smile 😁. Although the owner had advised her cute long ears don’t fit in the cone at home 🤣
