Hi Everyone,

Thank you so much for being so understanding and patient with me. As you all know the last few weeks of pregnancy was very taxing and it did end up taking a bit of a toll on my body.

Baby boy was born on the 20th of April via C section, a very healthy and “good sized” as I am often told 🤣weighing at a whooping 4.57kg and 55cm long - we know why I was in so much pain!

We’re still in the thick of recovery and change atm so I do appreciate everyone being super patient with us. I’d like to thank everyone who has been so kind and caring, messaging me privately to check up on me both clients and friends. It does mean the world and I’m feeling all the love 🥰

Just a reminder that Ash who is renting a table from us is going for surgery at the end of May and won’t be back until July. Although it is best to make July bookings now as she does get quite booked up.

Reminder to everybody that I am officially on maternity leave. And Ash’s Little Paw House is renting a table from my place. All prices may vary as she is independent from me and appointments are subject to her own availability. Just a notice that she will be heading off for surgery as well at the end of May so places are very limited.

Important Update from Paw Matters 🐾

As many of you know, I’m in the final stretch of my pregnancy (last 9 weeks to go!) and preparing for an important new chapter for our family.

Over the coming weeks, Paw Matters will be slowing down and eventually closing for a period so I can focus on my family and the new arrival.

👉 What this means for appointments:
• We are not taking any new clients
• Facebook appointment requests will not be approved and will be declined
• I have one bather helping me on Tuesdays and weekends only
• Please bear with me as appointments may take longer and responses will be slow while I juggle fatigue, a toddler, and late pregnancy

👉 For clients with existing bookings
If you already have an appointment scheduled, I appreciate your patience as grooming times may be longer than usual due to more frequent toilet and rest breaks. As many of you know, I usually work straight through without lunch or breaks, but with a 96th percentile baby and the hot weather, I need to be extra careful and listen to my body.
This also means I appreciate your patience when ringing the bell, as I may not be able to get to the door immediately especially when handing dogs back.

👉 Space rental
Ash’s Little Paw House will be renting the space on Thursdays and some Wednesdays. All future bookings on those days will need to be made directly through her for the foreseeable future.

Thank you all so much for your understanding, patience, and ongoing support during this special (and busy!) time for our family. I truly appreciate each and every one of you and your pups 💛
