In 2007, Charmaine begun her career in the Pet Grooming Industry, working and managing eminent Perth salons and becoming a personal stylist and minder for pets belonging to some of Perth's most influential entrepreneurs, professionals and socialites. In January 2020, Couture Canine was launched as a humble home salon and 3 months later partnered with Happy Tails Dog Daycare in West Perth to

transform into a full service spa salon for Perth's most pampered pets! Sourcing only the best stylists to work alongside her, Couture Canine has developed into a brand that encases Charmaine's passion for personalised styling and exclusive customer relations. Couture Canine has since grown from sole trader status to becoming home to 10 Nationally Certified, Award Winning stylists & 3 independently contracted stylists, spread across 3 different locations; West Perth, East Perth and most recently Mandurah. We design bespoke styles that suit your lifestyle and we provide a personalised service and professional grooming experience, utilising our extensive ongoing education in trending styles and participation in AKC conformation and grooming competitions. Taking a holistic approach with each companion that comes into our care, we work closely with you and your pet to create a sophisticated haircut which highlights their most redeeming features to ensure your pooch looks and feels their best.
