In case any of my clients weren’t aware I’m off for the weekend to run the Transcend 65km ultra marathon with 2800m of elevation! The horses will be in the capable care of super stable hand Piper Psereckis for the weekend.

Race starts at 6am at Walyunga National Park and works its way up through dense and steep bush land to Toodyay. For those wanting to follow along I’ve posted the live tracking link above to see how I’m getting on, I am hoping to finishing around 9-10 hours so it’ll be a staying test for sure!

What a marvel Kisses From Kelly is, he deserves an appreciation post 🫶

‘Terry’ may of run another 2nd today at Belmont by a nose but he’s nothing short of amazing in his tenacity. Each fortnight for the last 5 starts he’s gone out at top weight consistently carrying 5kg more than the majority of the field even with a 2kg claiming apprentice on his back to run four 2nds and getting a win in as well.

Love this beautiful boy, thank you to his owners for trusting me in training the toughest of Terry’s 😍

2 spaces available at HMT Equestrian and Racing for pre-training, training and further education due to a few recent retirements. Based in Forrestdale our team gets to a wide variety in their training regimes including track work around our 950m sand track at home, regular beach work, track work at Lark Hill, arena schooling and access to multiple local bridle trails to incorporate hill and extra fitness work.

A very happy 18th birthday to our superstar Piper Psereckis who turns 18 today 🙌 thank you for all you do, your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed and your worth your weight in gold to myself, the doggies and the ponies, we all love yah!
