🐾 TIME FOR ANOTHER TRUSTY TAILS SOCIAL WALK! 🐾

Two weeks ago we held our first Trusty Tails Social Walk and it was a great success! 🎉🐕 We loved seeing Teams working together, building confidence and practising their skills around other dogs.

Due to the availability of the Trusty Tails crew, we won’t be holding a walk this Sunday, but we’re already planning our next one in 2 weeks’ time! 🙌

What are Trusty Social Walks?

🐾 Coached training walks where Teams can focus on engagement and training with their dog alongside other Teams.

🐾 Current Trusty Tails clients who have been working on their dog’s social skills with us for some time and/or have successfully completed testing with our stooge dogs are welcome to join ANYTIME.

🐾 Not a regular client? No problem! Please email [email protected] before booking, especially if you have an excitable dog. We can discuss whether an assessment with our stooge dogs would be appropriate before joining.

🐾 These walks are designed to be a safe and supportive space, and we aim to make sure everyone has a positive and enjoyable experience.

🐾 Small groups + two trainers means every Team can benefit from some 1:1 coaching and guidance throughout the walk. 💛

We had an absolutely glorious day hooping with our beginner dogs working on independence, hoop value, and corners today 🤩, with much fun being had by all! If you'd like to join the fun, let me know. We are now taking expressions of interest for intermediate and advanced classes and private sessions - options include Saturday at 8am or Monday or Wednesday mornings depending on numbers and interest. Attention all Therapists we have our final Therapy Dog Course coming up in the October School Holidays.

This course is for therapists and their dogs who want to provide animal-assisted therapy services. We love seeing Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Speech Therapists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physio's, Counsellors, Social Workers, Teachers, Music Therapists and Art Therapists and dream one day of having a Dentist complete the course!!! Not listed, reach out to see if this course may be suitable.

Course is run across 2 in-person days at Royal Park Hall, with all catering included in the price of the course. Online units to be completed prior to the course to help you prepare.

Come ready to learn about how to create positive experiences for your dogs in therapy to create sustainable and long-term working relationships, as well as lots of other topics so you can feel confident to bring animal-assisted therapy to your work. Open to dogs of all ages.
