Could you be any more proud of yourself blackie? You have shedded a whole new husky!

This had to be one of the most satisfying grooms of the year so far, blackie really brought the snow to Perth!

This was all loose undercoat that had already been released and trapped by the top coat. This is not the winter coat that is needed to keep Blackie warm for winter - that coat is still perfectly in place. However now his coat is able to breathe and regulate body temperature as it should. Having air flow through the coat and too the skin so that moisture doesn’t get trapped leading to hotspots. Don’t forget your baby’s grooms during winter 🥰🐾

The cuteness overload is unreal! 4 month old Maggie came in with her big brother Rusty for an intro into grooming and she sure enjoyed herself, playing with all the toys, jumping on her brother and enjoying a nice warm bubble bath. Rusty must be feeling all light and free from the mountain of loose fur we removed during his deshed 🐾
I can’t wait to see you two again, the sibling love melted me 🥰
