🐕 Tips for Raw Feeding Puppies:

Yesterday we highlighted the benefits of raw feeding puppies - today we will be going through the tips for raw feeding your pup!

So here's our best tips to help take away any overwhelm with raw feeding!

✔️ Start Gradually: Transition your puppy to raw food over 7-10 days. Mix small amounts of raw food with their current food and gradually increase the raw portions. This helps their digestive system adjust.

✔️ Balance is Key: Puppies need a variety of nutrients to support their growth. Offer a variety of raw proteins (chicken, lamb, beef, kangaroo) along with bones, organ meats, and veggies to provide a balanced, complete diet. Consult with your vet or a pet nutritionist for guidance on proportions if needed.

✔️ Smaller, More Frequent Meals: Puppies have small stomachs, so it's best to feed them smaller portions more frequently. Typically, 3-4 meals a day is recommended, depending on their age and size.

✔️ Be Mindful of Bones: While raw bones can be great for dental health and mental stimulation, be sure to feed them appropriately sized bones to avoid choking hazards or digestive issues.
