So close ! Everytime I think we are ready to plant the hedge a new task emerges…. it’s good to get all this drainage in place now !
The arena has developed a scary end for the moment but that is going to be short lived with the excavator up and running again today - it’s a long journey - helps to be patient and share the vision - some days i feel like a small child counting sleeps to Christmas !

This amazing set has just arrived in my mail box.  Excited much - indeed we are for those who know you know and for those who don’t this is a very special set of 3-D printed dressage signs with all the letters for me to practice tests at a higher level than I’m riding at the moment because the sub letters mean something too.
I’m really excited to try these out because they’re made for the elements and should cope well with being outdoors, big shout out to.Belinda Coleman and Crafted By Bea!!! Lucky my horse has a sore foot and we aren’t competing tomorrow. Looks like I’ve got a job to do ❤️

When your horses foot looks like this it’s a given that we aren’t doing any riding !😞 so there’s time to focus on the other creatures that live here ….. salty Duck was hand reared and very human friendly. She is also dog friendly which worked against her last October - a visitor dog decided she would make a good toy. The injuries she incurred were more than nasty. We thought she wouldn’t make it but in came the ever wonderful north who patiently tended the wound and at times tube fed her - for 6 weeks Salty just kept onngoing and here she is fully rehabilitated. As a further boost we came across some Muscovy ducklings and are so thankful to Corinne and Issy Peats Ridge Equestrian Supplies for these babies - salty is convinced they are hers and watches them carefully day and night. Her little family are blossoming ❤️

Oh baby - it’s Spring. We have at least 3 pair of Rosellas nesting in trees close to the yard. This little one ventured too far and couldn’t get back to its parents. After much calling out and their responses it was clear that they were too shy to come and feed it. Last night it was taken safely and fed by our kind humans. Looking brighter and happier with a full crop and no doubt looking to a bright future

The biggest surprise was that all horses were wormed before dinner.
How did that go? Well let’s say we haven’t tried it but we think that ivermectin doesn’t taste so good.

Breezy and Koko took some giant steps on the weekend at the Glenworth Valley Gymkhana.
we are so proud of this little combination ! First attempt at Jumping 👏 many other firsts and some ribbons for the effort. Well done you two. Counting down or up for your first dressage test - will be something special indeed
