Good afternoon everyone

Today we head to the races at Werribee with 3 runners

Race 4 benchmark 56 1608 meters at 3.30pm
We have Turfie to be ridden by Alana Kelly from barrier 13. The form guide says 7th for his last run but it was a first up run for a staying horse over a shorter than ideal trip in a race way above his current rating. He went really well there today we’d expect him up in trip back in grade to again be hitting the line well.

Race 6 benchmark 56 1108 meters at 4.30pm
We have Sophast to be ridden by Emily Pozman who claims 1.5kgs here from barrier 14.
Huge run last time given the pressure he was under from the moment they jumped out of the gates. Back in grade here is why we have gone with the apprentice jockey to get some weight relief. He should work across and be right in the thick of the action when the whips are cracking.

Race 7 1408 meter benchmark 56 at 5.00pm we have Mickidamuzz to be ridden by Craig Newitt from barrier 6
Another who is back in grade today for this race. His effort at pakenham last time out was good chasing home into 3rd behind a couple of quite smart horses. Hopefully the step up in trip means he can travel a little closer and we get him to the middle of the track and he can work through his gears.

We head to Werribee with 3 horses that have worked well between runs and that have each taken benefit from those runs at pakenham 17 days ago.

Today we are at the races at Wangaratta with 1 runner
Race 7 1100 meter (56)
We have Palentine’s day to be ridden by Jason Maskiell from barrier 8 after scratchings.

Jason has a perfect record on this boy with 2 rides for 2 wins
First up today we know he races well fresh over the sprint trips and the good 4 track won’t pose any issues for this boy. Let’s see him hitting the line well

Tonight we have 3 runners at Pakenham

Race 4 1400 meter class 1 at 7.45pm
We have Mickidamuzz to be ridden by Jason Maskiell from barrier 7 after scratchings
This boys first up tonight off a couple of strong jump out efforts we are excited to see what he can do this preparation

Race 5 1400 benchmark 70 at 8.15pm
We have Turfie to be ridden by Caitlin Hollowood from barrier 3 after scratchings
Again this boy is also first up for the preparation. He too has trialed up nicely and does put in a good one fresh

Race 7 1000 meter benchmark 70 at 9.15pm
We have Sophast to be ridden by Jason Maskiell from barrier 1
Huge win here 3 weeks back let’s do it again mate

We have Frenzy Lune to be ridden by Celine Gaudray from barrier 7 after scratchings

Frenzy’s 2 runs this time in have been full of merit up in grade tonight but down in the weights will give her a chance to put her best foot forward

Wow
What a win by Sophast ridden brilliantly by Craig Newitt. As we have always said with this boy let fast horses be fast. Craig drove him out of the gates early and plotted a perfect course away from the rail in the better going.
Congratulations to the owners and connections of this horse and a huge congratulations to all the staff involved.

Good afternoon everyone

Tonight we head to the races at Pakenham with 1 runner

Race 6 1000 meter benchmark 66 at 8.45pm we have Sophast to be ridden by Craig Newitt from barrier 7 after scratchings.
Down to a field of 7 means the aim is to jump we’ll sit outside the leader and be hard to run down. Left handed whip rider is something new to this horse and we are excited to see the response he gives to that. Of slight concern is the softish track but it’s been a warm day and we are the second last race so as long as the rain stays away while the cards underway we head there with confidence he will put his best foot back forward

Congratulations to the owners and connections of Hayai Tsuru running a great race to run 2nd at wycheproof in the 2nd event

Later on we have another runner
This one at Traralgon in race 6 1450 meter (56) at 4.37pm
We have Frenzy Lune to be ridden by Emily Pozman from barrier 1
Frenzy is second up today after a cracking first up effort at Moe a couple of weeks back. Up to the 1450 today is closer to her pet distance she has worked well this week and we are going confident of a positive showing

Good afternoon everyone

Today we head to the races at Mornington with 3 runners

Race 2 3070 meter Highweight bm74 at 1.30pm
We have Hand Of Doom to be ridden by Gary Walsh from barrier 8 after the scratchings.
We don’t like bashing jockeys given Patrick was one around here but to be honest it was a horror show his run the other day at Bairnsdale.
The instruction’s are pretty simple for this boy he will jump out of the barriers and lead or sit outside the leader where ever he is comfortable and relaxed he doesn’t have a great change up speed but he will keep boxing on and in a race like this over this kind of distance that’s certainly not a bad trait to have. This is a huge step up in class but he’s rock hard fit and the bookies might have underestimated this boy here today.

Race 3 1000 meter maiden at 2.05pm
We have Samand to be ridden by Jason Maskiell from barrier 8 after scratchings
Back to the 1000 meters today and a senior jockey could be key to Samand’s improvement here she just went to hard in front and didn’t really see out the 1200 at this stage of her career. She does have to improve to be in the finish here today.

Race 4 1500 meter maiden at 2.40pm
We have Hayai Tsuru to be ridden by Emily Pozman from barrier 9 after scratchings
Hayai Tsuru is a new addition to the stable and first up this preparation. She’s had 2 jump outs at pakenham to build fitness for today’s assignment but we think she might be better suited up in trip 2nd and 3rd up

Today we head to the races at Moe with 1 runner

Race 6 1000 meter 0/56 at 4:40pm
We have frenzy lune to be ridden by Teo Nugent from Barrier 4.
First up for this girl today. She comes to the races on the back of one pakenham jump-out where she finished 2nd. Being first up for the stable we expect her to jump and position near to the lead but today is a good learning opportunity for us given that she is new to the stable.

Good morning everyone

Today we head to the races at Bairnsdale with 2 runners

Race 2 1200 meter maiden at 2.15pm
We have Samand to be ridden by Caitlin Hollowood from barrier 2.
Today is a bit of a d day for this girl. She looked great winning a jumpout at pakenham by a space but hasn’t produced that on Raceday as yet. We are hoping the step up in trip to the 1200 means she can get a position and settle rather than be going flat out from start to finish. She’s cricket score odds but there’s no reason she won’t be able to run an improved race today.

Race 6 2200 meter benchmark 56 at 4.35pm
We have Hand Of Doom to be ridden by Koby Jennings from barrier 2
Doomy was huge last start breaking his maiden at Moe. Today it’s obversely a step up in grade and we come back 247 meters and on to a dryer track but we retain the services of Koby who was keen to stick with this boy after that gutsy win. It’s an interesting race on paper with a bit of pace in the race so we would be hoping to take a sit one of the fence from that barrier and like last time build into his work and be fighting out the finish.

Today we head to the races at Ballarat with 1 runner
Race 7 1000 meter benchmark 56 at 5.05pm
We have Sophast to be ridden by Beau Mertens from barrier 2.
We are happy to welcome the ultra consistent Sophast back to the races today for his first up run. He looked good winning his last jumpout on the 26th of August and heads to the races in perfect order. There’s a saying in racing let fast horses be fast so we would expect this boy to be close to if not in the lead today and prove hard to run down.

Good morning everyone

Today we head to the races at Kilmore with 1 runner.

Race 3 1460 meter maiden at 2.30pm
We have Lean Mean Jess to be ridden by Eoin Walsh from barrier 4 after the scratchings.
On the face of it this girls debut wasn’t great but the rider sat up shortly after straightening thinking something wasn’t right with her. While initial vet checks proved to be inconclusive we have given her some time between runs and we are much happier with her for that. She’s working well and is eating up well. Second trip to the races is a benefit despite being eased down there’s still a lot that this girl has gained from going to the races education wise. The good track today will be a plus we think she will be able to hold a position midfield one off the fence we’d love to see her travelling well and finishing her race off today.
