Good morning everyone

Today we head to the races at Donald with 2 runners

Race 2 1356 meter maiden at 12.05
We have Hand of Doom to be ridden by Jack Hill from barrier 3 after scratchings
Hand of doom is first up today after a decent spell what ever this boy does today he will be improved with racing and out in trip but we would still like to see him finishing off through the line.

Race 6 1628 meter (58) at 2.26
We have Palentine’s Day to be ridden by Jake Duffy from barrier 10 after the scratchings
What do we know about Palentine’s Day.
He’s having a great preparation without finding the winners stall yet. 2 excellent runs in 64 rating races with a solid effort in a 70 where he was a month between runs and probably looking for 1400 at that stage and then last time just missing out. More things we know Jake Duffy has had 2 rides on this boy for 2 placings he’s had 1 run at Donald for a win. He’s fit and ready to go today stepping back up to the 1600. We would expect him to work across and sit outside the leader and then pour on the pressure rounding the bend and fight like we know he does towards the finish.

Best of luck to our wonderful owners

Good afternoon everyone

Today we head to the races at Pakenham on the Synthetic surface

Race 2 1400 meter maiden at 1.30pm
We have Pride Of Pariah to be ridden by Jake Noonan from barrier 3 after the scratchings.
This boy has had 1 go on the Pakenham Synthetic where he finished 3rd behind 2 smart city class horses. He does need to improve on his recent form we hope the switch back to the synthetic can be the tonic that he needs.

Best of luck to our wonderful connections.

Good morning everyone.

Today is a special day around here.
Not only are we heading to the races at Sale today with 1 runner, but today is special as it’s the main man Patrick’s birthday!

No better way to celebrate one’s birthday than to head to the races with a live chance at winning.

Race 5 2226 meter benchmark 64 at 2.30pm
Turfie is to be ridden by Jason Maskiell from barrier 7 after the scratchings.
We go back up in distance today and the Sale track should provide Turfie every chance to make his long sweeping run down the middle.
There are some lightly raced progressive horses in this race but the one thing we know about this boy is he is rock hard fit and when the pace is on in his races and he gets the chance to settle he has a nice turn of foot and can finish over the top of them late

Best of luck to our wonderful connections

🚨Winner Alert🚨

Burton Street
What a great ride by Jason Maskiell. Worked across from the wide barrier to sit outside the lead and totally dominate the race from that position. In the end Jason sat up on him and give him an easy time late.

Congratulations to Burton Streets owners and connections.

What a great weekend for the team 4 runners 1 winner and 2 seconds. Big thank you goes to the whole team for having the horses feeling good and racing well.

Good morning everyone

Yesterday Pride of Pariah was a bit head scratcher but we will see how he comes through the run he initially pulled up well. Palentine’s Day was brave again yesterday with a great effort in running 2nd again beaten by another quite smart horse he’s knocking on the door.

Today we head to the races at Moe with 2 runners.

Race 1 1217 meter maiden plate in 10 minutes at 10.30
We have mickidamuzz to be ridden by Jason Maskiell from barrier 7
Micki trailed up super on Tuesday at pakenham winning his heat and heads into this nice and fresh for the first up assignment

Race 8 1217 meter (58) at 2.45
We have Burton Street jumping from barrier 8 also to be ridden by Jason Maskiell.
This boy loves the Moe track at the time of writing the track is rated a soft 6 which is right in his wheelhouse we know he goes forward and is hard to get past and we would expect nothing less today

Best of luck to our wonderful connections

Good morning everyone

Today we head to the races at Werribee with 2 runners

Race 2 1400meter maiden plate at 1.16pm
We have Pride of Pariah to be ridden by Jake Duffy from barrier 7.
First up today after 2 solid jumpouts at Pakenham.
His first up record is good placing 2 out of 3 attempts and getting out to the 1400 first up is a really nice kick off point.

Race 7 1400 (58) at 4.16pm
We have Palentine’s Day to be ridden also by Jake Duffy from barrier 1 after the scratching's.
Good run last start in a competitive 64 beating all bar 1 horse. This boy has come back in great shape. He has drawn a good barrier today which should see him with a good trail into the race.

Best of luck to our wonderful connections

Raceday Recap

Some excellent efforts today by our boys at Kilmore.

Turfie off another slow pace and on the inside for most of the race got to the middle and was great through the line. Looking forward to him going back up in trip slightly and getting a better tempo in the run allowing him to finish off even better than today

Palentine’s Day
Beat all bar the hot favourite today and gave the each way punters plenty to cheer about. Getting back to the tactics that saw him post 2 wins and a placing last prep dominating the race from the front and showing that gritty determination we know he has. He’s really come on again in his latest spell and is a genuine chance in any 64 rating race between 1200 and 1500. He does like his runs spaced out a little so be looking for him over the next 3-4 weeks in a similar race today and be very hard to get past again.

Congratulations to our connections on a good day today and may there be more wins for these boys right around the corner.

Good morning everyone

Today we head to the races at Kilmore with 2 runners.

Race 6 benchmark 58 2000 meters at 3.30pm
We have Turfie to be ridden by Joe Bowditch from barrier 4
Impressive again at Donald 2 weeks ago he’s come up really well this time. Coming back in distance slightly won’t be too much of an issue as long as there’s good pace in the run he’s fit and going well. Another forward effort wouldn’t shock.

Race 8 benchmark 64 1450 meters at 4.30pm
We have Palentine’s Day to be ridden by Jake Duffy from barrier 6.
One of the best through the line at Mornington first up showed this boy is in for a nice preparation then we struggled to find a suitable race so he stepped right up in grade to the 70 at sale and while 8th of 10 doesn’t read well on paper he was beaten less than 6 lengths. Dropping back in class to the 64 today will be much more to his liking. We has come through that Sale run well and much like Turfie we are hoping for another forward effort.

Best of luck to our wonderful connections.

Good morning everyone

After a successful day at Donald we are backing it up with 1 runner today at Sale

Race 7 1205 meter benchmark 70 at 4.15pm

We have Palentine’s Day to be ridden by Joe Bowditch from barrier 7.
What an eye catching run at mornington at the start of April when this boy was first up. We have kept him fresh as we know he likes his runs spaced out. Today is another big leap in grade but we think the track at sale will suit his racing style a little better than the mornington circuit. We are expecting him in this class to settle back and run on through the line.

Best of luck to our wonderful connections.

🚨Winner Alert🚨

TURFIE
2nd time this prep we get down the middle and over the top to win
Perfectly judged by Dean Yendall who didn’t panic when they all took off early. Dean knew he had a fit horse who loves it when the pace is good in his races

Congratulations to our wonderful connections.
The long drive home from Donald doesn’t seem so far on the back of these kinds of results.

TURFIE does it again!

Good morning everyone

Today we head to the races at Donald with 1 runner

Race 8 benchmark 58 2200 meters at 4.00pm

We have Turfie to be ridden by Dean Yendall from barrier 11
Turfie is on the 8 day backup from Anzac Day at Moe where he was finishing off well. Drawing gate 11 means this guy won’t be cluttered up going between horses as we know that’s not his ideal run. We are looking for a nice tempo here today and Dean has ridden him before so he knows the little quirks Turfie has.

Best of luck to our wonderful connections.
