This month for the GentlePressure™ Point Project we are presenting one of the best points of all for all tendons and ligaments (called Sinews in Chinese Medicine). Sinew Support (GB 34) is called the Influential Point for Sinews. It is at the top of the list when your animal is vulnerable to tendon and ligament conditions - either acute or chronic. This may include horses with tendon injuries, dogs with ACL issues, and so many more possibilities. If your animal needs this point, regular use can make a world of difference along with other smart management steps like dietary and supplement choices, watching the footing in your horse’s arena, and so forth.
Sinew Support (GB 34) is not hard to find once you know it BUT it can be tricky in those first few times. So all month we’ll be working on nailing down your location so that you can get THE most accurate point work for THE best results.
Please note that some prominent sources in our animal acupressure world may place this point incorrectly in their materials. They DESCRIBE the right anatomical location but DISPLAY a photo with a different location. So pay close attention this month to really learn THE RIGHT position. Both locations can get results (they are both on the right meridian) but we promise that the correct anatomical location (also DESCRIBED by that other source) will get you optimal results.
For our more advanced readers who love to learn how to blend points, use with Free Flow (GB 20), Dynamic Balance (Liv 3), Spring Yin (BL 18), and others. They can greatly enhance the effects of Sinew Support (GB 34).
Starting tomorrow try Sinew Support (GB 34) with your animal! All month we’ll be guiding you through how to find the point with ease! Once you’ve snapped a photo of your animal’s GB 34 on your phone, share your photo in the EA Guild for a chance to win a laminated chart at the end of the month! https://bit.ly/EAGuild
*If your animal has health issues, seek veterinary attention FIRST. The approaches here are only to SUPPORT veterinary care. Once you have a veterinary treatment strategy, add acupressure to boost that approach and give added relief to your animal.
