✨Silver Lining LF✨

4yo homebred Tilly made her Eventing debut at Albury HT last weekend. Despite being a bit unsure about the wet going in her dressage, she was super sweet to score 66.56%. Her showjumping was green (and a bit small!) but we got around with just a couple baby rails! Cross country is a work in progress and with all three phases in one day, Tilly was not overly impressed by the time XC rolled around🤪

This horse oozes talent and it is so lovely to be receiving so many compliments everywhere she goes. There are so many people to thank, you know who you are!

Special mention to Seumas Marwood and Danielle Marwood, your breeding program is insane and I’m so lucky to have such a quality young horse as a result!

Also big thank you to Nicole Bertalli for housing us Thursday night and providing moral support. Congrats on your win!!

Dressage Plus is celebrating 10 years!!
Danielle Pooles has been an absolute godsend for me this year. It has been a tough year personally and Danielle has given me the opportunity to work through the mental battles that so many of us face.

I have been able to improve my motivation and the outlook on both my horses and personal goals. I am super lucky to have the support of Danielle this year and have noticed such a huge difference since working with her.

Comet is a 5yo 16h WB x gelding by Contenda.

Comet has a beautiful nature and is very trainable. He was left to mature until he was broken in at 4yo. He has been produced slowly and correctly. Due to this, he is still quite green and not suitable for beginners.

Comet would be perfect for a dressage, showjumping or eventing home. He has big, floaty movement and a huge canter. His sire, Contenda, has produced numerous FEI horses across all three Olympic disciplines. Comet takes after his sire, oozing talent and trainability, and therefore we believe he is best suited to a competition home. However, he is also quiet enough for a less competitive home. He is more woah than go, never bucked/reared/bolted. Great to shoe, catch, rug etc.

We’ve had a busy few weeks Eventing!

Friends of Werribee HT was Harry’s last 80 start where he finished on his dressage score in 2nd place!

Spring HT was also successful with Harry finishing fifth in his first 95 and Snozzle finishing 10th in the 1* class!!

It was great to have Snozzle back out Eventing after a brief switch to dressage over winter. It takes a village with this horse! Biggest thank you to everyone who has helped me keep him happy and healthy!!

Looking forward to the rest of the season🫶🏼

Silver Lining LF had her first competition at Boneo today and was on her best behaviour!

This rising 4 year old is very exciting. She is my first home bred by Wild Kard, out of a Diacontinus mare🤩

Eventer turned dressage rider😈

Wolf Whistle II had a crack at the medium tests both Friday and Saturday. The first tests on both days were quite tense but the second tests were much better, scoring 63% and 62%, even with a few 8s in there. Lots of refining to do but it is pretty exciting that Snozzle can hold his own against the warmbloods! However, I apologise to the other riders for the warm up antics! You could tell we are eventers!

Riverina Bullet LF competed in the Prelim on Saturday and despite having no warm up due to close times, he came 5th on 67% in his first test and 9th on 65% in his second test! He is such an angel

Both of these horses have come a long way in a short amount of time thanks to my wonderful coaches. The two thoroughbreds really held their own and I’m super excited about the upcoming eventing season! Off The Track

Riverina Bullet LF brings home another ribbon!!

Harry went along to Melbourne International Three Day Event to compete in the 5yo class on Thursday and blew me away! He did a lovely dressage test which received some really encouraging comments from the judges! He jumped super in the indoor that night and finished in 5th place!

Harry was the only off the track thoroughbred to place in the 5yo class and held his own against the performance bred horses! I absolutely love the thoroughbreds, but I do believe this one is pretty special🦄

Harry and I had a great time at Albury HT last weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better result!

Dressage is this horses strongest phase (someone didn’t tell him he’s a TB!), scoring 71.88% to be in the top 10 in a large field yet again! We got a nice clear and relaxed round for our SJing and finished the weekend off with a double clear XC! Harry brought home his first ever Eventing ribbon for 4th place!

This horse is such a champion and the more I work him out the cooler he gets! I may be biased but I think he is going to have such a bright future🦄🤩

Big thank you as always to my coaches and parents! A special thank you to Shaz and John who let me stay with them for a few days beforehand and came along to warm me up for the dressage x

Riverina Bullet LF has started to really show his talent, stepping up to 95cm SJ and having a great run at Ballarat HT in the 80, scoring 69% and being in the top 10 after dressage. Just need to build his confidence cross country, but he has really started to enjoy his new job post-racing. It has been a year now since we brought him home, and he has exceeded all expectations 🦄

Also very excited to have our 3yo Wild Kard filly home from the breakers and in work. Can’t wait to see how she turns out!!
