Seeking 2 very special unicorns 🦄 on behalf of Horsepower Brigadoon

🦄 One 13-14hh and one gentle giant 16hh plus and heavy build (capable of carrying riders 100kg plus)

🦄 Minimum 7 years but prefer older (seniors very welcome as long as sound and in good health)

🦄 quiet, honest and dependable temperament, excellent ground manners essential

🦄 solid basic education, ok for walk, trot and ideally canter, able to be ridden with no contact safely, not too sensitive under saddle and more whoa than go

🦄 absolutely must be suitable for beginner unbalanced riders in arena and out and about

🦄 trial and vet check essential, free leases preferred but healthy budget available for perfect unicorn.

Our horses have a very special place in our hearts, they work with us to improve the physical and mental health of people with diverse abilities, bringing so much joy to their faces. Kappa is one of these specially trained, accredited animals who works with our HorsePower Brigadoon -Brigadoon Brumbies team on a weekly basis making a difference in the lives of all who work with him.

Unfortunately at the age of 15 Kappa has been diagnosed with a condition known as 'Kissing Spines' and requires surgery. Following this surgery it will be Kappa's turn to receive Physical Therapy and a little extra love and support to recover. As you can imagine the cost of surgery and recovery can be extensive but this gentleman is worth it and still has so much to give. Please help us to improve Kappa's quality of life so he can continue to bring so much joy to others.
