Can you rely on your pet sitter? 🐾
This isn’t my usual kind of post, but as we head into the holiday season, I wanted to share a glimpse of what last year looked like for me.
Last year was full of ups and downs — but I came out stronger than ever, smiling through every challenge the universe threw my way. It was a ripper season for pet sitting; I worked 14-hour days back to back, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Between the heat, storms, PCOS and gallstone pains, a car accident (a trailer jack-knifed and hit me TWICE), and even a blown radiator in the backup car — I had every reason to stop. Knowing I should’ve gone to hospital and taken a break. But I didn’t. I pushed through because I had families counting on me.
Looking back, I’m so proud that every booking got done, every pet was loved, and every client went home to happy fur babies. The thank-yous meant more to me than you’ll ever know.
My family kept me grounded, and I couldn’t be more grateful for their support.
Heading into this year’s holiday season, I’m reminded that health — both physical and mental — matters most. I feel healthier and happier than ever, and I’m ready to take on this season with that same passion and love for what I do.
As always, my goal is simple: to give every client peace of mind knowing their pets, homes, and farms are getting a little holiday of their own with Simple Creatures care.
The holiday season excites me with all the sweet faces I get to look after and it’s always a time of year I look forward to as a pet sitter.
The girls and I at Simple Creatures have your home and pets at our highest priority no matter the circumstances. We put ourselves in the shoes of our clients and what they would expect from us leaving their beloved pets and home in our care.
If you can’t rely on your pet sitter… maybe it’s time to make that call to Simple Creatures
