An outdoor dog which hasn’t been groomed or brushed for 6 months. It is very time consuming to slowly shave out mats and try to avoid nicking the dog or causing irritation. The coat shaved off in one go like a sheep. Thankfully he’s a little lamb now

Archie is a mini border collie! Looking so fresh and clean 🧼 he was the cutest, tiniest thing you’ve ever seen, a collie mixed with a poodle 😆 they need to push this breed as it is adorable.
Archie came with a full size poo hanging from his bum and was long overdue for a groom. He was very scared and pooed about 7 times something fluoro green so has been eating something he shouldn’t be! Dogs can’t help the themselves can they…

We were always taught to leave the head last to balance the body out. Clients will eagerly walk up to the trailer to get a sneak peek of their dog’s progress. I would be a very rich person if I had a penny for every one who had asked “are you going to fix the head up?”. Imagine if the clippers stopped working at this point and the scissors dropped! It would be a first and hopefully never happens 😂 shoutout to the groomers that hear this often on their rounds! 🙌

Sadie is a very nervous little dog that suffers from ADHD from birth and has medication before her groom to relax her anxieties. The owner says she has been anxious from birth and doesn’t even like hugs. She w**d on the table twice. We were very gentle with Sadie but she was still very nervous throughout the groom. Is there anything else my fellow groomers can recommend to help her through this process to be as comfortable as possible?
